With a history dating back nearly 2,000 years, this city offers a rich Hindu and Buddhist traditions, while its cosmopolitan culture welcomes people of various religious beliefs. Kathmandu is a gateway to Nepal's stunning natural beauty and a treasure trove of architectural wonders.
Our representative will meet you in airport arrivals. You will then be transported to your hotel for check in. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure.

Your day in Kathmandu begins with the option to embark on an early morning mountain flight that offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including the majestic Mount Everest and other towering peaks. Afterwards, return to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, you'll embark for Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its Buddhist and Hindu temples. Here, you'll also have the opportunity to experience the magical singing bowls, known for their healing and relaxing qualities. These ancient instruments were invented by Tibetan and Nepali Buddhist monks for physical, mental, and spiritual rejuvenation.
In the afternoon, head to Swayambhunath, an iconic hilltop Monkey Temple that is over 2,500 years old. Afterwards, explore the historical Kathmandu Durbar Square, another UNESCO World Heritage Site where kings were crowned and ruled.
Additionally, you'll have the chance to enjoy a rickshaw ride from Hanuman Dhoka to Thamel. As you traverse narrow alleys, you'll encounter local shops selling Nepali spices and souvenirs, and you'll witness daily life in the city.
