Day 1 - Bangkok
On arrival at Bangkok International Airport, we meet and greet you and guide you to your transfer to the hotel, where you can settle in.The rest of the day is at leisure – you could unwind with a traditional Thai massage, explore local flavours, and round off the evening with sunset views from one of the city’s stylish rooftop bars. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 2 - Bangkok
After breakfast, we spend half a day exploring three of Bangkok’s most important Buddhist temples. We begin at Wat Traimit, the Temple of the Golden Buddha, which houses a 3 metres tall statue made from solid gold and weighing 5.5 tonnes. We then pass through Chinatown en route to Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and home to the Chedis of the Kings. The Buddha here is 46 metres long and 15 metres high, depicting the Buddha’s passing into nirvana. We continue to the Grand Palace, former residence of the Kings of Bangkok, to view its ceremonial buildings – the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House and the Emerald Buddha Temple. To round off the tour, we visit a local lapidary factory and showroom – you can browse and buy locally made jewellery, handicrafts and silk at competitive prices. Note: The Grand Palace is closed during special royal ceremonies and during visits by heads of state. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 3 - Bangkok - Maeklong - Damnoen Saduak
After breakfast, we leave Bangkok for Maeklong Railway Market, also known as Talad Rom Hoop. On arrival, our guide shares the background of the area before we take our place to watch the train pass directly through the market – the swift routine unfolds in minutes and is a striking sight. We then continue to the well known floating market of Damnoen Saduak to see merchants paddling along busy canals in sturdy canoes laden with fresh fruit and vegetables, trading with shoppers on the banks. You can browse and bargain for local goods before we transfer back to Bangkok. Breakfast included. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 4 - Bangkok - Phuket
After breakfast, enjoy some free time before we provide an unescorted transfer to Bangkok Airport for your flight to Phuket. On arrival, head to the Arrivals hall where our driver will be waiting with a sign showing your name – the transfer to your hotel is unescorted. Check in, settle down and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Phuket.
Day 5 - Phuket
We begin with breakfast, then you have a full day at leisure to discover Phuket at your own pace – relax or explore independently – with optional excursions available to book locally. Overnight in Phuket.
Day 6 - Phuket
After breakfast at the hotel, you have a relaxed day at leisure to rest and recharge. If you’d like to explore further, you can join an optional full-day Phi Phi Islands speedboat tour – a shared experience available daily from 08:00 to 18:00. You’ll be picked up from your hotel lobby, transfers and lunch are included, and casual, comfortable, light clothing is recommended. The day features island sightseeing by speedboat with time to swim in Pileh Lagoon and to see Viking Cave, Monkey Beach and Loh Samah. You’ll stop 1–2 times to snorkel and swim, enjoy a buffet lunch at a restaurant on Phi Phi Don, and later have free time for swimming and relaxation on the beach at either Bamboo Island or Rang Yai Island. We stay overnight in Phuket.
Day 7 - Phuket
Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel before we transfer you to Phuket Airport for your onward journey – this transfer is unescorted.
