Ushuaia & Tierra del Fuego Explorer
New
Start and finish in Ushuaia on a 4–day escape at the edge of Patagonia. You’ll explore Tierra del Fuego National Park – think lenga forests, peat bogs and coastal walks – and ride the End of the World Train for big views. Expect to see the Beagle Channel on a leisurely cruise – look for sea lions, cormorants and the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse – with the chance to visit penguin rookeries in season. You’ll visit the Museo del Fin del Mundo and stroll the port, and there’s time for a Martial Glacier hike or a cosy cafe break. A compact, varied break.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Ushuaia
On arrival at Ushuaia International Airport, we meet you for your included transfer to your hotel. After check-in, there are no scheduled activities – you can unwind after the journey or take a first stroll through the world’s southernmost city, set between the Andes and the Beagle Channel. Overnight in Ushuaia.
Day 2 - Ushuaia
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out on a half–day tour to Argentina’s southernmost protected area – the country’s only national park where coastal and mountain landscapes meet. Travelling along National Route 3, just 11 km from Ushuaia, we explore highlights including Río Pipo, Monte Susana, Lago Acigami, the Alakush Visitor Centre, Laguna Verde and Bahía Lapataia – the famed end point of the Pan–American Highway.
Weather permitting, we make short walks and photo stops to appreciate a landscape of mountains, valleys, rivers and lakes that reach the Beagle Channel. The sub–Antarctic forest here is home to native wildlife such as the Fuegian red fox and a rich variety of birds, including the cachaña, giant woodpecker, rayadito, Patagonian thrush and the emblematic cauquén caranca, symbol of the Park. Overnight in Ushuaia.
Day 3 - Ushuaia
After breakfast at the hotel, you have a full day at leisure to explore Ushuaia at your own pace. Stroll the waterfront and central streets, take in the city’s striking setting between the Andes and the Beagle Channel, or simply relax at your hotel.
If you wish to see more, you can choose from optional excursions – not included – that delve deeper into Tierra del Fuego. The Full Day Tour to Fueguinian Lakes offers hotel pick up at 8:30 am – duration 8 hours. You travel along Route 3 via Mirador Valle Carbajal for views over peat bogs, mountains and glaciers, pause at a winter centre, then continue towards Paso Garibaldi. By mid morning you reach Puesto La Carmen for a hot drink and a gentle walk beside Lake Fagnano – known by the Ona people as The Rest of the Horizon – before heading around midday to the Garibaldi Pass viewpoint for panoramic views of Lake Escondido, set deep in a mountain valley.
Alternatively, the Half Day Private City Tour with Martial Glacier runs with a minimum of two participants – hotel pick up at 8:00 am, duration 4 hours. This guided overview takes in Mirador Las Hayas, Ushuaia Bay, the La Misión Anglicana neighbourhood, Bahía Encerrada, Avenida San Martín, Nuestra Señora de la Merced Church, the End of the World Museum and the Maritime Museum in the former prison, finishing at Martial Glacier for wide views over the city and the Beagle Channel.Overnight in Ushuaia.
Day 4 - Ushuaia
After breakfast, check out of your hotel – at the scheduled time, we provide a private transfer from your hotel to Malvinas Argentinas International Airport for your departure flight. We hope you leave Ushuaia with lasting memories of its striking landscapes and natural wonders.
