Day 1 - Athens
Upon arrival at Athens airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to relax and explore at your own pace. You might enjoy a leisurely stroll through the charming streets of Athens, perhaps wandering the picturesque Plaka district. Consider stopping for a coffee at one of the inviting cafés in Agia Eirini Square or browsing for souvenirs along Adrianou Street. In the evening, you may choose to dine at one of the city’s many traditional restaurants (dinner not included) or experience the city’s nightlife with an optional evening outing. Overnight in Athens.
Day 2 - Athens
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin a city tour highlighting the striking contrasts that define Athens. Visit the Panathenaic Stadium, the site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Pause briefly before continuing past the Prime Minister’s residence—the former Royal Palace—guarded by the traditional Euzones in their colourful uniforms. See key landmarks including the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament building, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the historic institutions of the Academy, University, and National Library. We then arrive at Constitution Square (Syntagma) before heading to the Acropolis to explore the architectural masterpieces of Athens’ Golden Age: the Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion, and the Parthenon, a symbol of classical harmony. Finally, visit the Acropolis Museum to admire artefacts from the site. After the tour, return to your hotel in Athens for an overnight stay.
Day 3 - Athens - Delphi - Kalabaka - Kalabaka
After breakfast, we depart for Delphi, travelling through Thebes, Levadia and the charming village of Arachova, nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Upon arrival, we explore the remarkable Archaeological Site of Delphi, a place of great historical significance in ancient Greece. Afterwards, we continue to Kalambaka, passing through scenic villages and towns of Central Greece. In Kalambaka, enjoy a pleasant dinner before settling in for the night.
Day 4 - Kalabaka - Athens
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel before setting off for Meteora, one of Greece’s most remarkable landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take in the stunning landscape as you explore the ancient monasteries perched atop towering rock formations, home to invaluable historical and religious treasures. On the return journey to Athens, travel through Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae, pausing briefly to view the Leonidas Monument across the road. Arrive back in Athens early evening for your overnight stay.
Day 5 - Athens - Mykonos - Mikonos
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before an early transfer to Piraeus port. From there, we take the ferry to the stunning island of Mykonos. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Relax with the hotel’s facilities or explore the charming surroundings at your own pace. Overnight in Mykonos.
Day 6 - Mykonos
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel before setting out to explore Mykonos at your own pace. Known as a hotspot for the international jet set, the island offers stunning beaches perfect for relaxation and a vibrant nightlife scene. Wander through the charming streets, unwind on the warm sands, and perhaps enjoy a few cocktails at one of the lively beach bars. Overnight in Mykonos.
Day 7 - Mykonos - Santorini - Thira
After breakfast at your hotel, we transfer you to the port of Mykonos to board the high-speed ferry to Santorini. Upon arrival on this iconic island, you will be met by our representative and taken to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to relax at the hotel, soak up the sun, or explore the charming streets of Santorini at your own pace. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 8 - Thira
After breakfast at the hotel, spend the day exploring Santorini at your own pace. Wander through the charming narrow streets and admire the iconic white Cycladic houses perched on the cliffs. You might choose to visit the archaeological site of Akrotiri, often called the Pompeii of Greece, to connect with the island’s ancient history. Alternatively, explore Canava to see its vineyards and distillery. Enjoy sampling the exceptional local cuisine at one of the many excellent restaurants, where traditional dishes offer a true taste of the island. Later in the afternoon, consider visiting the picturesque village of Oia to experience its renowned sunset. Overnight in Santorini.
Day 9 - Thira
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and prepare for your transfer to Santorini airport or port for your onward journey.
