Arrive in Italy via Milan or Venice and make your own way to our welcoming hotel in Limone sul Garda, a charming lakeside town on the northwest shore of Lake Garda.

After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish. In the afternoon, you’re free to unwind and explore the enchanting atmosphere of Limone sul Garda, with its winding cobbled streets, quaint waterfront cafes, and scenic views over the crystal-clear lake, framed by lush mountains and lemon groves. A welcome dinner with the group is included at the hotel.

Please note: On this trip, there is a mix of three included excursions and free days for you to explore at leisure. The exact schedule varies by departure, so you may experience the tour in a different order to the itinerary below. Your tour leader will provide details, including the confirmed schedule for each day and departure times, posted at the hotel reception. The overall tour experience and inclusions are as per the following itinerary.

Please also note: On most departures of this tour, seven dinners are included. However, on departures in July and August, six dinners are included, along with one lunch in Venice.

You have a free day to explore Lake Garda at your own pace. Take your time to soak in the beauty of this special region, relaxing by the shimmering lake, browsing the colourful shops, and perhaps enjoying an alfresco lunch or a pre-dinner aperitif while watching the world go by.

Limone sul Garda - Riva del Garda - Malcesine - Limone sul Garda. Today, we have a half-day guided boat excursion to explore more of Lake Garda, taking in its stunning scenery and visiting some of its most popular spots. We’ll begin with a coach journey to Riva del Garda, where we’ll enjoy a short walking tour and free time to explore.

Then, we’ll board a private boat for a scenic tour. Our next stop will be the picturesque town of Malcesine, with its lakeside cafés and cobbled streets lined with shops, where we’ll have time to wander. Finally, with a breathtaking mountain backdrop, we’ll continue by boat back to Limone. The tour will conclude around 16:00.

You have another free day to explore Lake Garda at your own pace. Take the time to fully appreciate the beauty of this unique region, relaxing by the sparkling lake, browsing the vibrant shops, or enjoying a leisurely walk along the lakeside. You could also visit a local museum, explore nearby olive groves.

Limone sul Garda - Verona - Limone sul Garda. We will discover the charm of Verona and immerse ourselves in its unique atmosphere on this memorable excursion with our local guide. We’ll depart by coach for Verona, a journey of about 60 minutes.

We’ll explore the history and legend of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its wealth of historical buildings. Verona is perhaps best known for its Roman amphitheatre, home to the renowned Verona Opera Festival. You will have a chance to capture a romantic photo at Juliet’s balcony, one of the city’s most famous landmarks!

You have a final free day to explore Lake Garda. Take the time to fully appreciate the beauty of this unique region on your final day of leisure, relax by the glistening lake, explore the bustling shops, to pick up your last souvenirs, or enjoy a peaceful walk along the shore. The day is yours to enjoy Lake Garda at your own pace.

Alternatively, you can opt to join the Italian Alps Wine Tasting Tour, with your tour leader confirming the day it will take place. On this optional tour, you’ll embrace the beauty and charm of the Italian Alps, captivated by the green, unspoiled mountainsides and tiny villages that have remained unchanged since medieval times. A highlight of the afternoon will be the included wine tasting in the vineyards, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by the locals.

Limone sul Garda - Venice - Limone sul Garda. Today, we have a full-day excursion as we explore the enchanting maze of canals, alleys, and squares that make up the unforgettable city of Venice. We’ll visit its most famous landmarks, including the iconic St. Mark's Square, the architectural gem that is Ca’ d’Oro, the Rialto Bridge, and the grand Palazzo Ducale.

You'll also have plenty of free time to admire more piazzas, bridges, and ornate buildings that line the quaysides of Venice's extensive canal network before returning to our hotel in Lake Garda. Our approximate transfer time is 2 hours 30 minutes each way.
