Itinerary
Day 1 - Rome - Naples - Pompeii - Sorrento
Meet your assistant at Rome’s Termini Station around 8:00 a.m. (an optional private transfer from centrally located hotels in Rome can be arranged). We then take a high-speed train to Naples. Upon arrival, our expert local guide will meet you to transfer to Pompeii for a guided tour of the archaeological site. This ancient Roman city was buried under volcanic ash following Mount Vesuvius’s eruption in 79 AD, preserving it remarkably well for nearly 1,700 years. After the visit, we transfer to Sorrento, known for its charming old town and the traditional fishing village of Marina Grande, one of the city’s most authentic highlights. A local assistant will welcome you at your hotel for check-in. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 2 - Sorrento - Capri - Sorrento
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart at 7:30 a.m. for Sorrento’s port to meet your guide and board a traditional Gozzo Sorrentino boat to Capri. Upon arrival, we take a scenic boat tour around the island, with the option to visit the Blue Grotto—weather permitting and at your own expense. Once ashore, we continue by minibus to the famous Piazzetta, the vibrant heart of Capri. You will then have some free time to explore the island at your leisure before returning to the port and sailing back to Sorrento. Overnight stay in Sorrento.
Day 3 - Sorrento - Positano - Amalfi
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart at 10:30 a.m. for Amalfi. En route, we will stop for two hours in Positano, often called the jewel of the Amalfi Coast, where you can explore its charming streets and stunning seaside views. Afterwards, we continue to Amalfi, a historic town that lends its name to the entire coastline. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Amalfi.
Day 4 - Amalfi
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before spending a full day at leisure in Amalfi. Take the opportunity to explore the town’s charming streets, relax by the coast, or simply soak up the stunning surroundings at your own pace. Overnight in Amalfi.
Day 5 - Amalfi - Naples - Rome
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning in Amalfi to explore or relax as you wish. Around 3:00 pm, we transfer you to Naples where a local assistant will assist you at the train station to board the high-speed train to Rome.
