Day 1 - Welcome
Welcome to Tromsø, the Arctic Capital!
Tromsø offers a unique mix of Arctic culture, stunning landscapes, and vibrant urban life. Known as the "Gateway to the Arctic," it's famed for the Northern Lights in winter and the Midnight Sun in summer.
Upon arrival, make your own way to your hotel for check in. The rest of the day will be at leisure. In the evening, meet your guide in reception for a welcome meeting. If you would like to pre-book an arrival transfer, please contact us.
Day 2 - Polar Park
Tromsø - Narvik. Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, preparing for an exciting exploration of the Tromsø region.
Today's highlight is a visit to the northernmost Polar Park in the world. Here, amidst the Arctic wilderness, you'll have the chance to encounter some of the region's most iconic predators, including the lynx, wolf, and wolverine. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to meet more gentle inhabitants such as elk, reindeer, musk ox, and the Arctic fox. While we can't promise sightings of every creature, luck may be on your side, offering the chance to witness them all in their natural habitat!
After your wildlife adventure, your journey continues to Narvik, a renowned port city with a rich history.
Day 3 - Sami Experience & Svolvær
Narvik - Svolvær. After breakfast, we embark on a scenic drive towards Sortland, where an authentic SAMI experience awaits at a traditional reindeer farm. Meet majestic reindeer and engage with a reindeer herder. Following lunch, continue your journey towards Svolvær.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel, then feel free to unwind in the charming surroundings of Svolvær, nestled between mountains and sea. As the largest town in the Lofoten Islands, Svolvær offers an array of restaurants, galleries, and breathtaking natural views for you to explore!
Day 4 - Lofoten Islands
Svolvær - Lofoten - Harstad. Today offers an exploration of the renowned Lofoten Islands. These islands offer a wonderous blend of white sandy beaches, towering mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and picturesque fishing villages that have captured the hearts of travelers worldwide.
Following your exploration of Lofoten, your adventure continues as you make your way towards Harstad. In the evening, prepare for a Northern Lights chase led by your tour escort. Equipped with expertise and determination, your escort will guide you to the perfect location to witness this awe-inspiring natural phenomenon.
Day 5 - Terrific Tromso
Harstad - Tromsø. Enjoy an early breakfast before departing by fast boat to Tromsø, leaving Harstad around 07:00 and arriving in Tromsø at 10:00. Upon arrival, take a short walk to your hotel before joining a panoramic city walk led by your tour guide. Following this, you'll have the afternoon and evening free.
Opt to join either a guided Aurora Husky visit, a guided snowmobile tour, or a Northern Lights Cruise. Whichever option you select, you'll embark on an unforgettable Arctic adventure, venturing into the darkness of the Arctic fjords and Polar nights. (booked and paid for locally)
Day 6 - Goodbye
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Following this, it's time to bid farewell to this captivating city. Make your own way to the airport for your departure. Safe travels!

Enhance your tour with these optional extras, helping you to get the most from your adventure.
Enjoy an unforgettable snowmobile safari through magical snow-covered mountains, dramatic landscapes and scenic valleys. Learn how to drive “the scooter of the north” in a snowy wilderness playground. Experience the spectacular fun at our wilderness center, Camp Tamok. For this tour you will be picked up from the city center in Tromsø, from where you will be taken to Camp Tamok, a 90-minute scenic bus drive away. Upon arrival, you will be provided with warm clothes and other required gear for this snowmobiling activity. After this, we will go through the safety instructions and give you a practical demonstration on how to drive your own snowmobile. You will drive in pairs, one driver and one passenger, on each snowmobile with the opportunity to switch places during the trip. After driving back down the trail and parking the snowmobiles, we will serve you a hot meal in a traditional North Norwegian setting around the open fire in a reindeer herder’s tent. During peak season, we might split the group to avoid large groups. Half of the group will start with the hot meal in the traditional North Norwegian setting before heading out to the mountains on the snowmobiles. After relaxing and warming up, it is time to head back to Tromsø. You must have a valid driver’s license – class B – to be allowed to drive the snowmobile.
Add-on
Set off on an adventure into the total darkness of the Arctic fjords and Polar nights. The boat departs from Tromsø and set sail for the direction where the clearest weather conditions for the night has been predicted. This can be north towards the areas of Kvaløyvågen or south to Ramfjorden or west along the southern part of Kvaløya island. The captain and crew will work together and keep their eyes out for clear skies or a gap in the cloud layer. While you wait for the northern lights to appear, you can stay warm and comfortable in the heated lounges. You can also grab a beverage and snack from the cafe. Available on Day 5 of tour.
Add-on
You will be taken to an Aurora Camp, where a Northern Lights guide will host you for the evening. Here, 30 minutes away from Tromsø and the city lights, the sky is dark and well suited for Aurora watching. See the northern lights and make friends with 200 Alaskan Huskies! Thermal suits, boots, transfers, dog yard and puppy visit, warm dinner are all included in this activity. Available on Day 4 of tour.

Departure dates are guaranteed with a minimum of 4 persons. 'Twin/Double' prices are per person when there are 2 people on the same booking sharing a room.
