Day 1 - Oslo
Upon arrival to Oslo airport make your way to our start hotel located in the heart of the town. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Transfer by shuttle bus from Oslo/Gardermoen airport to Oslo city centre can be pre-booked in advance, please enquire if you would like to pre book this.
Day 2 - Oslo
Today is at leisure allowing for plenty of time to visit the main attractions in Oslo. Pay a visit to the Royal Palace, city hall and Vigeland Sculpture Park where you can marvel at the worlds largest collection of granite, bronze and wrought iron sculptures. We recommend you purchase a 24-hour Oslo pass which grants access to most of the city’s museums and free travel to Bygdog Peninsula.
Day 3 - Flam
Oslo – Flam. This morning we meet our tour guide and embark on a scenic train journey to the scenic village of Flam. Nestled in the world’s deepest and second-longest fjord, surrounded by narrow valleys and soaring mountainsides the Oslo to Flam railway journey offers some of the most spectacular natural sites in the world. On the way we stop off at Myrdal, a small village only accessible by train before continuing our journey to Flam for a group meal together.
Please note: The New Year's departure will have continue to Voss for overnight stay.
Day 4 - Naeroyfjord Sightseeing
Today we set our sights to the west of Flam, on the Naeroyfjord ‘narrow fjord’, one of the many arms of the Sognefjord. It's arguably one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Norway and its ours to discover as we embark on a cruise taking in the traditional farms nestled on the 1,700 meters of towering mountains, hanging valleys and waterfalls. You start the Fjord Cruise trip from Flåm. The roundtrip is a combination of cruise and a shuttle bus that takes you back to where you started. You can upgrade your Fjord cruise to RIB boat at additional cost. After the cruise and some free time, we return to Flam for a meal together. The rest of the evening is at your leisure.
Please note: The New Year's departure will stay in Voss tonight.
Day 5 - Bergen
Flam – Bergen. We tick another train ride off our lists today as we depart Flam and take the scenic railway to Bergen surrounded by seven hills and fjords and known as the gateway to the fjords. Upon arrival we take a short walk through Bergen until we reach our hotel, the rest of the evening is at leisure to explore this remarkable city.
Day 6 - Bergen Sightseeing
Bergen– It’s time to explore Bergen on your own!Why not take a tour around the colourful fish handlers and enjoy the fish tasting at the most famous market in Bergen. Pass through the most emblematic places such as the Hanseatic Bryggen, with the church of Mary, the Hakon fortress and the famous fish market. Or take a ride on the spectacular Fløibanen Funicular, which will take you on the top of the Mountain Fløyen, for overall view of the city.
Day 7 - Bergen
Our tour comes to an end after breakfast this morning. We hope you had a wonderful time in Norway with us.

The Fløibanen funicular in Bergen is one of Norway’s best-known attractions. Fløibanen can be found in the heart of Bergen, 150 m from Fisketorget – the fish market – and Bryggen wharf. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the lower station from where the cruise ships dock. The journey up to Fløyen (320 m above sea level) takes about 5–8 minutes.

This structure, which juts out 30 metres from the mountainside, 650 metres above the fjord, offers an unparalleled panorama. The Stegastein Viewpoint is part of the Norwegian Scenic Route that runs from Aurland to Lærdal, popularly known as “The snow road”. Experience the beautiful morning light from high above the fjord! The trip begins by minibus along the Aurlandfjord and up to the spectacular viewpoint Stegastein, 650 meters above main sea level. Along the way your local guide will explain about life on the mountain farms as you pass them , and you are sure to see places you would not expect people to be able to live. On arrival you will be introduced to the art of walking on snowshoes and will hear the history behind them. All while the guide will tell you all about the dramatic nature, winter by the fjord and the special culture in the area. You will have several opportunities to see the fjord far beneath you, the tiny village of Undredal, Flåm and the white mountain tops surrounding the entire fjord. At the turning point you will be served hot beverages and can take in the quiet and unique beauty of the area, the photo opportuneties are many. The hike will take about 1-1,5 hours. Before the bus takes you back to Flåm there will be a stop at the viewpoint Stegastein. Notes: Warm clothing /layers are recommended. Not recommended for children under 6 years old.
