Two Oceans Exploration

Upon arrival at Phuket or Krabi International Airport, proceed to the designated meeting point where a representative will greet you. For Phuket arrivals, the meeting point is at Terminal 2. If arriving on a domestic flight at Terminal 2, please collect your luggage before heading to the meeting point. For international flights arriving at Terminal 1, you will be met in the arrivals hall and escorted to Terminal 2. At Krabi Airport, the meeting point is in the arrivals hall, where a representative will be waiting with a sign. Please note that to fully enjoy the included services today, you must arrive before 10:00 am; arrivals after this time will not have transportation or lunch provided. From the airport, we transfer to Khao Sok National Park, located between the Andaman Coast and the Gulf of Thailand, a journey of approximately two and a half hours. En route, we stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Upon arrival in the early afternoon, check in to your hotel before setting out to explore Khao Sok National Park. The park is renowned for its dramatic limestone formations rising from pristine lakes, deep valleys, and intriguing caves. Wildlife such as elephants, leopards, bears, gibbons, and tigers inhabit the area, so keep an eye out. After the visit, return to the hotel to relax and unwind. Overnight in Khao Sok.

After breakfast at the hotel, we set off early for a full-day excursion to Cheow Lan Lake within Khao Sok National Park. This vast man-made lake is framed by towering limestone cliffs and clear waters, offering spectacular scenery. We take a boat trip across the lake to explore its natural beauty, followed by a gentle trek through the jungle and a visit to a nearby cave. Lunch is served at a local restaurant before we return to the resort in the afternoon, allowing time to relax and unwind. Overnight in Khao Sok.

After breakfast, depart Khao Sok early and travel to Surat Thani. En route, visit Phra Boromathat Temple in Chaiya, a significant local religious site. Continue to Surat Thani and transfer to the pier to board a motorised long-tail boat for a one-hour journey along the Tapi River, Southern Thailand’s longest river. As we cruise, observe traditional waterfront houses and daily riverside life. After disembarking, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (included) before visiting Tham Khao Wang Thong, a limestone and iron ore cave renowned for its impressive stalactites. The afternoon concludes with a transfer to your hotel in Khanom for overnight.

After breakfast, we set off early for Nakhon Si Thammarat. Our first stop is Wat Phra Mahathat, regarded as Thailand’s oldest temple, with origins possibly dating back to the 11th century. Next, we visit the Shadow Puppet Museum and the former home of shadow puppet master Suchart Subsin to explore the region’s traditional shadow theatre culture. We then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Baan Kiri Wong, a village nestled among mountains. Here, you can meet local residents and take in views of the creek and surrounding hills. Our day concludes with a transfer to Phatthalung, where we arrive in the late afternoon for an overnight stay.

Rise early to explore Thale Noi Lake, a serene wetland renowned for its abundant birdlife. Depending on the season, you may see the lake adorned with blooming lotus flowers and water lilies, offering a truly tranquil natural spectacle. After this refreshing morning, return to the resort for breakfast before setting off towards Trang. En route, pause for lunch at a local restaurant (included) and then visit Tham Le Khao Kob cave in the Huai Yot district. This distinctive cave features a stream and impressive stalagmite and stalactite formations. Please note, the cave requires some crawling and lying down in a boat to navigate narrow passages, so if you have claustrophobia, discuss this with your guide beforehand. Conclude the day with your arrival in Trang in the afternoon, where you will spend the night.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will transfer early to Pak Meng Pier to embark on a day trip to Koh Kradan, Koh Mook, and Koh Chuak islands. Weather permitting, you will have the opportunity to visit the spectacular Emerald Cave, a hidden sea cave accessible by boat. The boat tour offers a relaxing way to explore these islands, known for their pristine white sand beaches and clear turquoise waters. Lunch is served on board (included) before returning to Pak Meng Pier. From there, you will continue your journey to Krabi in the afternoon for your overnight stay.

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, set out early to explore the quieter side of Krabi with a visit to the small island of Koh Klang. From Tara Pier, take a brief five-minute long-tail boat ride to the island, where cars are absent and life moves at a gentle pace. We travel by tuk-tuk into the traditional village of Baan Koh Klang, home to indigenous communities who maintain their age-old customs. Discover the rice fields, visit a local boat-building workshop, and observe the art of batik fabric painting. Enjoy a Thai set lunch at a local restaurant before taking a long-tail boat through the surrounding mangrove forest. After this peaceful village experience, return to the mainland and transfer to your hotel in Krabi or to Krabi International Airport by mid-afternoon. The recommended departure flight is TG250 KBV-BKK at 19:20; to use the included airport transfer, plan to depart after 17:00, as no transport is available before then. From here, you may continue with your onward travel arrangements.
