Opt to fly between Cairo and Aswan on our King Ramses with Cruise tour, in lieu of the overnight Sleeper train journey. After exploring the Egyptian Museum and the Treasures of Tutankhamun, it's a one hour flight to Aswan, where you'll enjoy a comfy bed for the night. The following morning enjoy a lie in and a leisurely breakfast before rendezvousing with your tour group mid-morning.

Additional Information

This add-on is available for all group tour guests travelling on The King Ramses With Cruise (+ Flight Option) tour between Cairo and Aswan offered in lieu of the overnight sleeper train.

This add-on must be booked 60 days in advance of your departure. If booking less than 90 days, we no longer have access to discounted fares and supplements will apply. Flights sell out quickly as there are few scheduled flights to Aswan per day, pre-dawn and late evening. At times, our group may be split over 2 flights, with some travelling in the evening and others travelling early the next morning.

Travellers who have a single room on their tour are required to book a single room with this upgrade, and a single supplement will apply.

Our flight upgrade is offered unescorted, as your tour guide will be travelling aboard the overnight train with the other members of your tour. You will rendezvous with your tour group and guide when they arrive in Aswan at approx 11am.
