Sree Padmanabhaswmy Temple
A beautiful intricate Hindu temple, bright yellow in colour with stunning statues carved into the entire façade of the building. The temple is dedicated to the God of preservation Vishnu. Unfortunately, the temple is closed to non-Hindus but if you are Hindu you can rent the appropriate attire and enter the temple, see the beautiful interior and pay your respects for a unique spiritual experience.
Kovalam Beach
Take some time to relax and unwind on the gorgeous shores of this Indian beach. Sit on the sand and watch the world go by to the soft sounds of the waves crashing against the shore. Look out for fishermen and watch them bring in delicious fresh fish or do some water sports, from parasailing to speed boats rides which are available with local companies. If you come in the evening Kovalam Beach is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the shinning waters.
