Montenegro is generally safe for tourists. As a company we do not offer tours to unsafe countries. Though as is the case in most countries petty crime, such as pickpocketing, can occur in busy tourist areas, so it's advisable to keep an eye on your belongings. Exercise common travel precautions, such as avoiding poorly lit areas at night and being cautious with strangers.
The official currency of Montenegro is the euro.
Montenegro is home to several must-see attractions, including the Bay of Kotor, the historic town of Perast, the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Kotor, the stunning Durmitor National Park, the coastal town of Budva, and the picturesque Lake Skadar.
The best time to visit Montenegro is during the late spring or early autumn when the weather is pleasant, and the tourist crowds are thinner. The summer months are also beautiful but can be quite busy and hot.
