Day 1 - Bahrain
Welcome to Bahrain! Upon your arrival at the airport, we will greet you and provide a transfer to your hotel. Having settled in, you'll have the rest of the day to unwind and explore the local surroundings at your own pace. Whether you'd like to stroll around and soak up the atmosphere or simply relax, the choice is yours. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Bahrain
Our adventure in Bahrain continues as we begin exploring at 10:30 in the morning. Our day unfolds with a guided visit to Manama, the capital of this historically significant nation. We delve into Muharraq's historic district, strolling through quaint pedestrian alleys that reveal beautifully restored royal residences and opulent houses of former pearl merchants. We then drive along the city's waterfront and visit the Beit Al Quran, a museum dedicated to the Quran, the sacred text of Islam. Our exploration takes us to Bahrain's National Museum, where captivating exhibitions illuminate the country's art, ethnographic collections, and age-old traditions, painting a vivid picture of Bahrain's historical importance.Around midday, enjoy free time at a local mall, where you can savour a lunch of your choosing at the food court. In the afternoon, we reconvene for a tour of the grand Al-Fateh Mosque, Bahrain's primary mosque. Afterwards, we venture beyond Manama, reaching Qal’at al-Bahrain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This monumental sea-facing fortress has been continuously inhabited for 4000 years, though its notable structure was erected by the Portuguese. We proceed through one of the globe's largest oil production zones, pausing at Bahrain's inaugural oil extraction well. We also visit the legendary Tree of Life, a persevering natural wonder over 500 years old, thriving in the desert's heart as a national emblem.Our return to Manama is followed by another bout of free time. Later, we immerse ourselves in the vibrant Middle Eastern atmosphere of Manama's souks and the culturally rich Little India neighbourhood, where the traditions and aromatic cuisines of India abound, reflecting the community's significant presence in Bahrain's population. Please note that the order of activities may vary slightly, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience.
Day 3 - Bahrain - Doha
Enjoy a leisurely morning in Bahrain, where you can explore its charming historic centre or perhaps visit one of its intriguing museums. In the afternoon, we will transfer you to the airport for an included flight to Doha, Qatar. Upon arrival in Doha, you will be transferred to your hotel. The evening is free for you to uncover the vibrant city at your own pace.
Day 4 - Doha
Today, we immerse ourselves in the vibrant city of Doha. Our exploration begins with a city tour featuring the scenic Corniche, showcasing a striking skyline of skyscrapers and picturesque beaches. We will admire the architectural wonder of the Al Thumama Stadium, one of the venues for the 2022 World Cup, before proceeding past the architecturally stunning National Museum. We will also visit the Museum of Islamic Art, home to the world’s largest collection of Islamic art, blending modern design with timeless tradition.Delving into local culture, we'll visit the Souq Waqif, a lively market built to reflect 19th-century souks, where you can witness the fascinating practice of falconry at the Souq of the Falcons. Stroll through the vibrant stalls and nearby stables that house majestic Arabian horses. For lunch, we will head to "The Pearl of Qatar," an impressive artificial island, where you’ll have time to explore Porto Arabia and enjoy the Venitian-inspired shopping area of Qanat. Lunch is included.Our day concludes at Katara Cultural Village, a melting pot of global architecture, boasting enticing eateries, an opera house, and an amphitheatre, providing a perfect blend of leisure and culture.
Day 5 - Doha - Dubai
We will transfer you to the airport for your included flight to Dubai. Upon arrival, you’ll be taken to your hotel, where you’ll have free time to relax or explore the surroundings at your leisure. In the evening, we'll whisk you away to experience the vibrant nightlife of Dubai. You'll witness the spectacular Dubai Fountain show, an impressive display of water, music, and lights, set against the stunning backdrop of the towering Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building at 828 metres. You’ll have time to explore or dine (as you choose) in the expansive Dubai Mall, home to a diverse array of dining options and shops. We’ll conclude the evening with a return to your hotel. Please note that the flight from Doha may land in Dubai or a nearby airport such as Sharjah or Abu Dhabi.
Day 6 - Dubai
After breakfast, get ready for an extraordinary day uncovering the wonders of Dubai. We'll kick off with a visit to the 'Dubai Frame' – the world's largest photo frame offering panoramic views that capture the city's contrasting old and new skylines. Following this, we'll meander through the Bur Dubai Souq and Spice Souq for a sensory shopping experience, rich in authentic sights and aromas. Our journey continues with an Abra ride – a traditional Emirati boat – to the historic district of Al Fahidi. Here, we'll visit the Centre for Cultural Understanding, embracing its philosophy of 'Open Minds, Open Doors'. While exploring Al Fahidi's charming lanes, we'll enjoy a traditional Emirati meal in one of its historic buildings. For groups larger than 15, there will be a fascinating talk on the culinary traditions of the Emirates.In the afternoon, our tour takes us past the majestic Jumeirah Mosque, before heading through the cityscape of modern landmarks. See the iconic Burj Al Arab, renowned for its sail-like silhouette, and take in the unique design of 'Palm Jumeirah'. We'll enjoy a monorail journey offering breathtaking views and later, take a leisurely stroll around the vibrant Marina area. You will have some free time to relax or explore at your own pace by the bustling JBR beach, Dubai's most popular seafront destination, before heading back.
Day 7 - Dubai
After breakfast, our services conclude in Dubai.
