Day 1 - San Jose
Welcome to Costa Rica. Upon arrival at the airport, a local representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel in San José. After checking in, you will have leisure time to refresh and settle into your room. You are free to explore the city and its surroundings at your own pace this afternoon. Overnight in San José.
Day 2 - Arenal
After breakfast, check out of your hotel. At the arranged time, a representative from the car rental company will meet you in the hotel lobby to finalise the contract and hand over your rental car. You will then drive to the Arenal area—a journey of approximately four hours. It is advisable to arrive before nightfall for ease of settling in. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy some free time to relax or explore the local surroundings at your leisure. Overnight in Arenal.
Day 3 - Tamarindo
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and begin the drive to Tamarindo Beach on the north Pacific coast. The journey takes approximately four and a half hours, so it’s best to arrive before nightfall. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy some free time to relax at the resort or explore the beach at your leisure. Overnight in Tamarindo.
Day 4 - Tamarindo
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day at your leisure to relax and explore Tamarindo independently. Whether you choose to unwind on the beach, visit local shops, or discover nearby attractions, the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Overnight in Tamarindo.
Day 5 - Tamarindo
Breakfast is included at the hotel. You have the day at leisure to relax or continue exploring the Tamarindo area independently. Overnight stay in Tamarindo.
Day 6 - Tamarindo - San Jose
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive back to San Jose—a journey of around five hours. At the agreed time, return the rental car in the hotel lobby. Once checked in at your San Jose hotel, you can relax or explore the city at your leisure. Overnight in San Jose.
Day 7 - San Jose
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. At the arranged time, a local representative will collect you from the lobby and provide shared transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport for your departure flight.
