Itinerary
Day 1 - Zagreb
Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport, our representative will welcome you and provide a private transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and settle in at your own pace. Overnight in Zagreb.
Day 2 - Zagreb
After breakfast, meet your guide for a walking tour of Croatia’s capital. We explore Zagreb’s contrasting districts, beginning with Ilica – the city’s longest street that separates the historic Upper Town from the lively Lower Town. In Upper Town, you’ll see landmarks such as St Mark’s Church with its colourful tiled roof, Lotrščak Tower, the Funicular railway, the Stone Gate and traditional gas streetlamps still lit by hand. The oldest parts of the city, Gradec and Kaptol, reveal Zagreb’s origins. We visit Dolac Market, one of Europe’s few remaining open-air markets, before arriving at Ban Josip Jelačić Square, the city’s main square. In the afternoon, you can relax in one of the many open-air cafés that contribute to Zagreb’s reputation as Europe’s largest café culture. Overnight in Zagreb.
Day 3 - Zagreb
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day at your leisure. You may choose to explore the surroundings of Zagreb with an optional private driver and guide. There are several nearby attractions to consider, including the charming historic town of Samobor, known for its traditional pastry called kremšnita. Alternatively, you might visit Hrvatsko Zagorje to see Veliki Tabor – a well-preserved fortress and museum – or explore the impressive Trakošćan Castle. In the evening, return to Zagreb for your overnight stay.
Day 4 - Zagreb
After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport at the arranged time for your onward flight.
