Day 1 - Berlin
Once you arrive in Berlin, we'll take care of your transfer to the hotel, allowing you a splendid opportunity to unwind from your travels. Make the most of your free time to begin absorbing the vibrant atmosphere of Germany’s capital. In the afternoon, be sure to check the hotel reception area, where you'll find essential information detailing the start of your exciting journey. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Berlin
On the second day, we'll dive into Berlin's vibrant and rich culture with the expertise of a local guide. Our sightseeing journey by coach will take us past notable landmarks such as Museum Island, the Television Tower, and the main shopping streets in the city centre. You'll witness the historic sites like the old cathedral, which bears scars from World War II, the iconic Brandenburg Gate, and the stately Reichstag. Berlin’s expansive parks provide a glimpse of the city's vast green spaces. Notable stops on our tour include the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum — poignant reminders of Germany's complex past. In the afternoon, you’re free to discover Berlin at your leisure. Later, we’ll transfer you to Kantstrasse, known for its lively atmosphere and dining options, perfect for an evening out.
Day 3 - Berlin - Dresden - Prague
After departing Berlin, our journey takes us through lush forests to the enchanting city of Dresden, celebrated for its remarkable architectural and artistic treasures. You’ll have the opportunity to wander the streets, explore the city's stunning palaces, and savour local cuisine at one of its inviting restaurants or cafés. Our expedition continues into the Czech Republic, arriving in the captivating city of Prague. Here, we'll head to the bustling Old Town Square, where you can soak up the vibrant atmosphere and indulge in a diverse range of international culinary delights, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian dishes. Later, we’ll return to our hotel for a restful evening.
Day 4 - Prague
Today, we will explore Prague, renowned for its stunning Baroque architecture. Our local guide will lead us on a panoramic tour, showcasing the city's most notable landmarks. Included in our itinerary is a visit to Prague Castle, where you'll have the opportunity to delve into its fascinating history. Following that, enjoy a relaxing boat ride along the Vltava River, allowing you to take in the city's skyline from a unique perspective. In the afternoon, you are free to discover the charms of Prague at your leisure.
Day 5 - Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
We begin our day with an early departure, heading towards Bavaria in Germany. Upon reaching Munich around midday, you'll have the opportunity to wander through the historical city centre and savour a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, our journey continues into Austria as we head to the heart of the Alps. Here, you'll have the chance to explore Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, renowned for its charming architecture and stunning mountain views. As the day draws to a close, enjoy dinner in the Old Town, particularly around the famed Golden Roof area, providing a perfect blend of culture and cuisine.
Day 6 - Innsbruck - Zurich
Begin your day with a visit to the renowned Swarovski Museum, where we will explore the dazzling gardens and discover the meticulous process behind creating Swarovski's famous crystal pieces. Once you've taken in the exhibits, enjoy some free time to wander around at your leisure. Later, we will set off for Zurich, travelling through the scenic beauty of the Tyrolean landscape. Upon reaching Zurich, take the evening to explore the historic city centre by the lake. Here, you can choose to dine in one of the many restaurants offering diverse cuisine, including Indian, Oriental, Italian, as well as Swiss and international dishes.
Day 7 - Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich
Today we embark on a journey through breathtaking Swiss landscapes, featuring majestic mountains and pristine lakes. Our adventure begins in the picturesque Interlaken region. Upon arrival in Grindelwald, you can savour a moment with a coffee before we ascend the mountain via cable car. At the top, a winding path leads us to a suspended bridge—cross it for awe-inspiring views of the surrounding glaciers. We will have lunch on the mountain, which is included in the day's events, before descending.Our next stop is the charming city of Lucerne, where you will have time to discover its delightful streets and beautiful scenery. We will later return to Zurich. For those seeking a bit more adventure, there is an optional full-day excursion. Following your free time in Lucerne, you can opt to take a rotating cable car to the summit of Mount Titlis. At over 3,000 metres above sea level, you'll be treated to stunning views of the glacier and the Alps.
Day 8 - Zurich - Strasbourg - Paris
Leaving Zurich behind, we set off towards the picturesque French region of Alsace. Our first stop is Strasbourg, a city where French and German influences beautifully converge. You'll have time to wander through its charming streets, soaking in the distinctive blend of cultures and architecture. Later, we'll continue our journey to Paris, arriving by evening in time for you to start exploring the City of Light at your leisure.
Day 9 - Paris
Our day begins with a captivating visit to the splendid Palace of Versailles, a symbol of French opulence renowned for its breathtaking gardens. While entrance is not included, you are encouraged to delve into the palace's vibrant history. Upon our return to Paris, we will head to Montmartre, a charming area celebrated for its artistic ambience, with painters and cabarets lining the cobbled streets. As the day unfolds, a local guide will lead us on a panoramic tour of Paris, providing insights into the city's majestic boulevards and iconic landmarks. The day concludes back at the hotel, with an optional opportunity to attend a variety show in the evening should you wish to further explore Parisian culture.
Day 10 - Paris
We begin our day in the heart of Paris with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower, where you will have the opportunity to ascend to the second floor and admire the breathtaking views of the cityscape (tickets included). Following this, we will embark on a serene boat cruise along the River Seine, which lasts around an hour and fifteen minutes, offering a unique perspective of Paris's landmarks. The afternoon is yours to discover the city at your leisure, allowing you to delve further into its culture and charm at your own pace. Please note, the transfer back to the hotel is not included. If the waiting times at the Eiffel Tower are particularly long, we may rearrange our visit to ensure a more comfortable experience, possibly scheduling it for a later time or on Sunday.
Day 11 - Paris
Following breakfast, our tour concludes in the enchanting city of Paris. We hope you leave with unforgettable memories from your journey.
