Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Reykjavík & Free Time in Iceland’s Capital

Transfer by Flybus shuttle from Keflavík Airport to your accommodation in Reykjavík. If time allows, you may wish to explore Iceland’s capital at your own pace and enjoy its vibrant cafés, colourful streets, and waterfront setting.
Day 2 - Reykjavík City Tour, South Coast Waterfalls & Lava Show Experience

This morning we explore Reykjavík on a guided city tour, taking in some of the capital’s best-known landmarks, including Alþingi - Iceland’s Parliament House - the striking Hallgrímskirkja Church, Harpa Concert Hall, and the Old Harbour area. Along the way, enjoy a tasting experience featuring local Icelandic flavours.
We then travel along Iceland’s spectacular South Coast. Our first stop is Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, where we can walk behind the cascading water for a unique perspective. Continuing east, we visit Dyrhólaey, famous for its dramatic sea arch, rugged cliffs, and sweeping coastal views, before stopping to admire the Reynisdrangar sea stacks rising from the Atlantic Ocean.
The day concludes in Vík with the Lava Show, where real molten lava is poured in front of guests. This fascinating experience offers a close-up look at the volcanic forces that continue to shape Iceland’s landscapes.
Day 3 - Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach & Vatnajökull National Park

Today we journey to the breathtaking Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where floating icebergs drift across the glacial waters in an ever-changing landscape of ice and light. An amphibian boat tour brings us closer to the lagoon’s remarkable scenery and wildlife.
We also visit Breiðamerkursandur - better known as Diamond Beach - where fragments of glacial ice wash ashore against the black sand coastline. Later, we continue into Vatnajökull National Park, home to Europe’s largest glacier and some of Iceland’s most dramatic natural scenery.
Day 4 - South Coast Highlights with Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon & Skógafoss Waterfall

Today we discover more of Iceland’s spectacular South Coast. We begin at Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon, a winding canyon carved over thousands of years, known for its steep cliffs and striking views.
We then visit Reynisfjara Beach, famous for its black volcanic sands, basalt columns, and powerful Atlantic waves. Continuing westward, we stop at the impressive Skógafoss Waterfall, one of Iceland’s largest and most iconic waterfalls, where rainbows often appear in the mist on sunny days.
Our final stop is the Skógar Folk Museum, where traditional turf houses and historical artefacts offer insight into Iceland’s rural heritage and daily life through the centuries.
Day 5 - Hveragerði Geothermal Town & Reykjadalur Hot River Hike

Spend the day exploring Hveragerði, a charming geothermal town known for its steaming vents, hot springs, and bubbling mud pools. The geothermal activity beneath the town creates a unique atmosphere found in few places in the world.
The highlight of the day is a scenic hike into Reykjadalur Valley, where a naturally heated river flows through the landscape. Here, we can relax in the warm waters and enjoy a picnic surrounded by Iceland’s beautiful countryside.
Day 6 - Reykjanes Peninsula Geothermal & Coastal Exploration

Today we explore the Reykjanes Peninsula, a region shaped by volcanic and geothermal forces. We visit the colourful geothermal area of Krýsuvík, where steaming vents and mineral-rich earth create a striking landscape.
Other highlights include Brimketill, a natural lava rock pool carved by the Atlantic Ocean, and Gunnuhver, Iceland’s largest mud pool, where clouds of steam rise from the earth below.
We also cross Brú milli heimsálfa - the Bridge Between Continents - spanning the boundary between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. Further stops include Hvalsneskirkja Church and the historic Garðskagaviti Lighthouse, offering panoramic views across the rugged coastline.
Day 7 - Blue Lagoon Relaxation & Solar Eclipse Viewing Experience

Begin the day with a relaxing visit to the world-famous Blue Lagoon. Surrounded by lava fields, the warm mineral-rich waters provide the perfect setting to unwind before the day’s main event.
Later, we head to a carefully selected viewing location to witness the Solar Eclipse. With eclipse glasses provided and guidance from an expert team, we experience this rare celestial event under the best possible conditions. Afterwards, celebrate the occasion with a glass of sparkling wine back at the hotel - a memorable way to mark this extraordinary moment.
Day 8 - Departure from Keflavík Airport

Transfer by hotel shuttle from your accommodation in Keflavík to Keflavík Airport for your onward journey.
