Day 1 - Arrive in Kochi & Kathakali Dance Show
On arrival at Kochi Airport we’ll greet you and arrange your transfer to the hotel. Standard check–in is at 2:00 PM – once the formalities are complete you can settle in and unwind after your journey.
In the evening we take in a Kathakali dance performance, where age–old stories are conveyed through intricate hand movements, expressive mime and vivid costumes. After the show we return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 - Exploring Kochi
After breakfast, we set out to explore historic Fort Kochi – its colonial streets, cafés and galleries offering a clear window into the city’s multicultural past. We visit Mattancherry Palace, dating from the 16th century and noted for murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana, then continue to the Jewish Synagogue – among the oldest still in use in the Commonwealth – to appreciate its historic features. We stroll through Jew Town, where you can browse antique shops and spice markets at your own pace. We also take in Santa Cruz Basilica and St Francis Church – one of the oldest European churches in India with links to Vasco da Gama.In the afternoon, we delve into Kerala’s heritage at the Hill Palace Museum, followed by the Kerala Folklore Museum, which showcases the region’s artistic traditions. Return to the hotel to unwind. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 - Kochi
Start the day with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, then prepare for departure. Standard check-out is at 11:00 – we’ll handle the formalities and arrange your transfer to Kochi Airport in good time for your onward journey.
