Explore Bali's cultural heart and southern coastline on this 8-day private tour from Ubud to South Bali. Once settled in Ubud, spend a full day taking in Tegenungan Waterfall, the Elephant Cave and Monkey Forest, then continue to Ubud Palace and Batuan Temple. From here, head south to Pura Taman Ayun and the clifftop Tanah Lot Temple, arriving in South Bali. The tour continues with a visit to a secluded beach near Uluwatu, followed by Uluwatu Temple and an evening Kecak dance performance, before the tour ends in South Bali.

Day 1 - Welcome to Ubud
Once you have arrived at the airport and collected your luggage, a representative will be waiting for you at the arrival gate with a signboard displaying your name.
You'll then be driven in a private air-conditioned car to your accommodation in Ubud, set amongst rice paddies and steep ravines in the foothills of the Gianyar regency.
Please note: Pick-up is scheduled for 12 pm, with a maximum waiting time of 120 minutes.

Day 2 - Uncover Waterfalls, Temples & Village Life in Ubud
This morning, your guide collects you from your hotel for a full day exploring Ubud, with scope to tailor the day to your interests.
The day begins with a visit to Tegenungan Waterfall, followed by the Elephant Cave and Ubud's Monkey Forest.
From here, you continue to Ubud Palace, stopping at Mas Village and Batuan Temple, before lunch overlooking terraced rice fields - taken at your own expense. Your guide is happy to help capture photos along the way.
Day 3 - Enjoy a Free Day in Ubud
Today is free for you to explore Ubud further. You might wander through the town's art markets and galleries, or take a walk through the surrounding rice terraces.
Day 4 - Journey to South Bali via Mengwi & Tanah Lot
This morning, you are collected from your hotel in Ubud for a full-day journey south to South Bali.
The day begins with a visit to Taman Beji Griya Waterfall, tucked into lush greenery, before continuing to Pura Taman Ayun, the royal family temple of Mengwi, known for its moat, tiered shrines and manicured gardens.
The day concludes at Tanah Lot Temple, perched on a rocky outcrop above the crashing waves - especially striking in the late afternoon light - before you are dropped at your accommodation in South Bali.
Day 5 - Explore South Bali at Leisure
This day is free for you to explore Nusa Dua further. You could spend time along the beach or take a stroll through the nearby shopping area.
Day 6 - More Free Time in South Bali
Another free day allows you to continue exploring South Bali. You might spend time at your accommodation, head out to explore the surrounding coastline, or simply relax by the pool.
Day 7 - Discover a Hidden Beach, Uluwatu Temple & Kecak Dance
This afternoon, you are collected from your hotel around 3 pm and taken to Thomas Beach, a secluded stretch near Uluwatu reached via a rugged staircase from Padang Padang Beach (also known as Labuan Sait). The calm, turquoise waters here are good for swimming, and you can explore the rocky outcrops and small coastal caves nearby - your guide may suggest a nearby beach with easier access if the tide is high.
From here, you continue to the clifftop Uluwatu Temple, where you watch a Kecak dance performance timed for sunset, complete with fire and traditional costume. You might like to enjoy dinner in Jimbaran Bay, at own cost.
Please note: Pick-up is scheduled for around 3 pm for guests staying in Nusa Dua; please wait in the lobby 30 minutes beforehand.
Day 8 - Departure from South Bali
Once you have checked out, a representative will collect you from your accommodation in Nusa Dua and drive you to the airport for your onward journey.
