Exploring Florence & optional Uffizi Gallery
This morning, you will be met by a local guide at the hotel and will embark on a 4-hour walking tour of Florence. Take in highlights of the city including Piazzale Michelangelo and the Ponte Vecchio. You will also enjoy 'skip the line' access to the famous Accademia Gallery. Here you will be able to admire legendary works, including Michelangelo's David, “I Prigioni”, “San Matteo” and “Pietà di Palestrina”.
If you would like to book an optional morning 'skip the line' tour of the Uffizi Gallery, then we can arrange this for you. Meet at 11:15 before heading inside, where with the help of an audio guide, you will be able to see numerous works of art by Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio and many others. Among the precious exhibition halls of the Gallery, the most renowned one contains the refined works by Botticelli, among which the absolute masterpieces: "Primavera" and "Birth of Venus". If you choose to book this morning tour of the Uffizi Gallery, then the Florence walking tour and Accademia Gallery visit will take place in the afternoon. Please note: The Accademia Gallery is closed on Mondays. For tours beginning on a Sunday, days 2 and 3 of this tour will be switched. All tour inclusions remain the same.

San Gimignano & Siena
Florence - San Gimignano - Siena - Florence. After breakfast, you are collected from the hotel for the day's excursion. Heading through beautiful Tuscan countryside, you first visit San Gimignano, a UNESCO-listed town known for its medieval architecture including beautiful towers - it is nicknamed the "Manhattan of the Middle Ages"! Enjoy a stroll through the town before heading to one of the nearby vineyards, for an included wine tasting and light lunch - you can also try some of the region's best Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Departing San Gimignano, you travel next to Siena, a beautiful medieval city known for its narrow streets and shell-shaped Piazza del Campo, where the famous Palio takes place every year. There's free time to explore this main square, or to visit the city cathedral, a wonderful example of Middle Ages architecture. After time to visit the sights, you are transferred back to Florence for the niight.
