Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Nairobi & Tsavo West National Park

Nairobi - Tsavo West National Park. Once you have arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by your driver-guide, who will give you a short safari briefing before setting off. You will then travel south towards Tsavo West National Park, arriving at your accommodation in time for a late lunch.
Later, as the heat of the day begins to ease, you will head out on your first game drive through this rugged and rocky landscape. Tsavo West is known for its strong wildlife populations, including plains game and Africa’s big cats. During your time in the park, you will also visit Mzima Springs, where clear freshwater pools attract hippos, crocodiles and a variety of fish, which you will view from a unique underwater observation point.
As evening approaches, you will return to your accommodation for dinner.
Day 2 - Tsavo West National Park Game Drives

This morning, you may wish to start early with a game drive, heading out as the park begins to wake. Wildlife is often most active at this time, before the heat of the day sets in, offering excellent viewing opportunities. You will then return to your accommodation for breakfast.
After lunch, you can spend time at leisure - perhaps relaxing by the pool or unwinding at your accommodation during the warmest part of the day.
Later, you will head out for an afternoon game drive, making the most of your final wildlife viewing opportunities in the park as temperatures begin to cool.
Day 3 - Tsavo West National Park to Amboseli National Park

Tsavo West National Park - Amboseli National Park. After breakfast, you will travel to neighbouring Amboseli National Park, arriving at your accommodation in time for lunch.
Amboseli lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak at 19,340 ft, whose snow-capped summit often forms a striking backdrop to the park. The landscape supports a variety of wildlife and is particularly known for its large herds of elephants. Swamps and springs, fed by underground water from Kilimanjaro’s melting snow, provide an important year-round water source for animals and birdlife.
In addition to game drives, you may wish to join optional activities such as a visit to a Maasai village or the Amboseli Research Centre, home to one of the longest-running studies of wild elephants in the world. These activities are available at an additional cost, payable locally.
After lunch, you can relax at your accommodation, perhaps enjoying a swim or a rest during the warmest part of the day, before heading out on an afternoon game drive.
Later, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and time to reflect on the day’s wildlife sightings.
Day 4 - Amboseli Game Drives

Early this morning, you may wish to head out on an early game drive as the park comes to life. This is one of the best times to spot wildlife, before the heat of the day sets in. With luck, Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak will be visible, providing a striking backdrop to the animals grazing across the plains. Afterwards, you will return to your accommodation for breakfast with views of the mountain.
After lunch, you can spend time at leisure, relaxing and making the most of your surroundings before setting out again on an afternoon game drive.
Later, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and your final evening in Amboseli.
Day 5 - Amboseli To Nairobi

Amboseli National Park - Nairobi. After your final breakfast, you will be transferred to the Nairobi airport for your onward flight. Safe Travels!
