Itinerary
Day 1 - Nairobi

On arrival in Nairobi, we’ll meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to the hotel for the night. Check in and relax after your journey. Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel.
Day 2 - Fly Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve. We start early, at around 7 am with pick up from your Nairobi hotel after breakfast for a short transfer to Wilson Airport. We then fly to Samburu National Reserve – a journey of about 45 minutes – landing at Samburu airstrip, where our ground team meets us for a brief bush transfer to the lodge. After check in and time to rest, we head out on an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.
Day 3 - Samburu Safari

After breakfast, we head into Samburu National Reserve for morning and afternoon game drives. This relatively small, arid reserve is quieter than those further south and is known for dry–country wildlife rarely seen elsewhere, including the Samburu Special Five – the long–necked gerenuk, Somali ostrich, Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe.
Day 4 - Fly Samburu to the Masai Mara

Samburu National Reserve - Masai Mara. We take a final game drive in Samburu en route to the airstrip for our Safarilink flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival, a driver–guide from Mara Serena Lodge meets us and transfers us to the lodge for lunch. Later, we head out on an afternoon game drive to explore the plains before returning for dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge.
Day 5 - Masai Mara Game Drives

We spend the day exploring the Maasai Mara National Reserve – about 1,510 square kilometres and bordering Tanzania’s Serengeti to the south. We head out on morning and afternoon game drives, or stay out all day with a packed hot lunch and drinks, searching for big cats, wildebeest and diverse birdlife. From July to October, the reserve hosts the wildebeest migration and crossing. In the evening, we enjoy Maasai dances or storytelling before dinner. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge.
Day 6 - Fly to Amboseli & Game Drive

Masai Mara - Amboseli National Park. After breakfast we transfer to the Masai Mara airstrip for our flight to Amboseli – with views over the Great Rift Valley. On arrival, our safari guides meet us and transfer us to Amboseli Serena Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon we set out on a game drive in Amboseli National Park, then return to the lodge for dinner. In the evening, you can relax by the lounge’s log fire with fellow guests. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 7 - Amboseli National Park Safari

We spend today on a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park – with packed breakfast and lunch – returning to the lodge at around 3 pm. We will look for lions, cheetahs, elephants, impalas, dik diks and birdlife including greater and lesser flamingos. Later, we head back to relax before dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
Day 8 - Fly to Nairobi

We transfer from the lodge to the Amboseli airstrip for our Safarilink flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi. On arrival, we meet our driver–guide and continue by road to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight home.
