Set out from Mombasa on a 3 day safari that loops back to Mombasa, combining Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Kick off with game drives to spot elephants, big cats, giraffe and antelope, with time at Aruba Dam where wildlife crowds the water. Stay in classic lodges with sweeping views and rise for dawn drives when predators are active. Expect red earth plains, volcanic hills and palm fringed Mzima Springs teeming with hippos and crocs. Comfortable pacing with regular meal stops and scenic roads, plus the choice to return by road or train at the end.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park
Mombasa - Tsavo East National Park. This morning, we pick you up from your hotel in Mombasa and travel along the Mombasa–Nairobi road to enter Tsavo East at Bachuma Gate. We head straight out on our first game drive, searching for elephants, cheetahs, giraffes and antelope, and continue to Aruba Dam – a reliable wildlife gathering point, especially in the dry season.
We pause for lunch and later for dinner during the day. Tonight, we stay at Voi Safari Lodge, Ashnil Aruba Game Lodge or a similar lodge nearby.
Day 2 - Tsavo East to Tsavo West
Tsavo East National Park - Tsavo West National Park. After a good night’s rest, we set out at first light for an early game drive in Tsavo East, then return to the lodge for breakfast.
We check out and travel by road to Tsavo West National Park, continuing the safari experience en route. All meals are included today – breakfast, lunch and dinner. We spend the night at Ngulia Safari Lodge or a similar nearby lodge.
Day 3 - Final Game Drives & Return to Mombasa
Tsavo West National Park - Mombasa. At first light we head out on a game drive before breakfast, when predators are most active and grazers feed. We take in the sunrise light over Tsavo West’s volcanic landscape as we continue our search. We then drive on to Mzima Springs, spotting more wildlife en route. We stop for breakfast, then return to Mombasa – by road or train – with a drop-off at your hotel.
