PRIVATE TOUR: Explore Morocco’s Atlantic coast and mountain heartland on this six-day adventure from Agadir back to Agadir. After arrival, head south into the Anti-Atlas to discover Tafroute, a laid-back Berber town known for its painted rocks and traditional silver souk. Travel through valleys lined with almond orchards before reaching Mirleft, where sweeping beaches and the historic Fort Tidli overlook the ocean. Enjoy relaxed coastal time before returning to Agadir to see the Crocodile Park, take the cable car to the hilltop Oufella Kasbah, and browse bustling Souk El Had. Day 1 - Arrival in Agadir

Arrive into Agadir Airport and transfer to your hotel, or similar, where the rest of the day is at leisure after your flight.

Overnight:Agadir

Day 2 - Tafraoute and the Painted Rocks

Agadir - Tafroute. We travel by minibus south of the High Atlas Mountains to the Berber town of Tafraoute. En route, we stop to see the striking Painted Rocks, a unique art installation set among the granite landscape. In Tafraoute, we visit the traditional silver souk, reflecting the town’s long-standing Berber craftsmanship.

Day 3 - Almond Valleys to the Atlantic Coast

Tafroute - Mirleft. This morning we journey through the almond orchards surrounding Tafraoute. In February, the blossom transforms the valleys into shades of pink and white. We continue to the Atlantic coast, reaching the relaxed seaside town of Mirleft. Here we see Fort Tidli, built in the 1930s, and enjoy time by the beaches. You may wish to take a gentle camel walk along the shoreline.

Day 4 - Mirleft at Leisure and Return to Agadir

Mirleft - Agadir. A free morning to enjoy Mirleft at your own pace, with time to relax on the beaches or browse the local markets. Later, we travel back to Agadir and visit the Crocoparc, home to hundreds of Nile crocodiles set within landscaped gardens.

Day 5 - Kasbah Views and Souk El Had

We take the cable car near Agadir city centre up to the Oufella Kasbah, offering panoramic views over the city and the Atlantic Ocean. In the afternoon, you may choose to explore Souk El Had, one of Morocco’s largest and liveliest markets, known for its spices, crafts and local produce.

The traditional Hotel Atlantic Agadir is ideally located a few minutes’ drive (or short stroll) away from the promenade of Marina D'agadir. Its swimming pool is set amongst palm trees and sun lounges, and the hotel also boasts a delightful terrace where you can enjoy refreshments from the snack bar, or a delicious dinner from the a la carte restaurant. There are plenty of attractions within walking distance including the centre of Agadir, the Synagogue and Souk El Had market. You can also enjoy a relaxing few hours in the Turkish or steam baths, along with the sauna, jacuzzi and massage.
