Itinerary
Day 1 - Marrakech - Marrakech
Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, you will be greeted by our team waiting outside the Arrivals exit, holding a sign with your name. Please ensure you meet your agent or driver before leaving the pick-up area. We will then transfer you to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to spend at leisure – whether you choose to explore Marrakech on foot or relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 2 - Marrakech - Ouarzazate
After breakfast, meet your driver in the hotel reception to begin the journey to Ouarzazate. We will travel through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the impressive Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2,260 metres. Along the way, we visit Telouet Kasbah, once the residence of the influential Glaoui family. After some free time for lunch, we continue to the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, renowned for its appearance in numerous films. The final stretch takes us to Ouarzazate, where you will check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner.
Day 3 - Ouarzazate - Tinfou
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for the village of Agdz, situated on the historic caravan route between Marrakech and Timbuktu. From there, we explore the Draa Valley, known for its lush oases, traditional Berber villages and numerous 17th- and 18th-century kasbahs constructed from mud and straw. The valley also offers striking views of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains and stretches of green palm groves. We then continue to Zagora, where you may choose to have lunch. Our journey proceeds to Tamegroute, a village renowned for its pottery, Koranic library and religious school. Finally, we reach the dunes of Tinfou, where you can walk to the top of a sand dune and take in the vast expanse of the Sahara Desert. We conclude the day with check-in and dinner at the Tinfou Dunes bivouac.
Day 4 - Oulad Berhil
You will rise early to climb a sand dune in the pre-dawn darkness and watch the spectacular sunrise—a memorable way to start the day. After breakfast at the camp, we drive to Oulad Berhil, passing through Tazenakhet, a village renowned for its Berber carpet production. Next, we visit Taliouine, Africa’s leading producer of saffron, where you will have the opportunity to explore a cooperative and learn about this prized spice. The day concludes with a short drive to Oulad Berhil, where you will check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner.
Day 5 - Oulad Berhil - Marrakech - Marrakech
After breakfast at the hotel, we explore Ouled Berhil, visiting its ancient Kasbah, main street and lively souks. Afterwards, we drive back to Marrakech, crossing the Tizi n’Test mountain pass and passing through several Berber villages nestled in the Atlas Mountains. You will arrive at your chosen hotel in Marrakech by evening, where a delicious dinner awaits. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 6 - Marrakech - Marrakech
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Marrakech Airport for your departure. The timing of your transfer will be arranged to suit your flight schedule, ensuring a smooth end to your journey.
