Day 1 - Los Angeles
Welcome to Los Angeles. Upon your arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel where you can enjoy some leisure time to settle in. In the afternoon, we'll provide you with important details about the beginning of your journey. Alternatively, you can find this information on the display panels located in the hotel reception. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Los Angeles
Following breakfast, we embark on a panoramic tour of Los Angeles, an expansive city brimming with iconic sites. Our journey begins at the music centre and navigates through the civic and financial districts, passing the vibrant LA Live and the iconic Staples Center. We continue along Wilshire Boulevard, making our way through the Korean Quarter and past the Brea Ditch, until we arrive in the illustrious Beverly Hills. From there, we travel along the famed Sunset Boulevard, arriving in Hollywood to explore the legendary Walk of Fame, the Dolby Theatre, and the Chinese Theatre, with the Hollywood sign standing proudly in the distance. You'll have some free time to wander around and enjoy lunch in this star-studded locale. Later in the afternoon, we provide a transfer to Long Beach, where the blend of towering palm trees and sleek glass buildings creates a unique skyline. Here, you can enjoy a stroll around Shoreline Village and dine at one of the bustling eateries overlooking the historic Queen Mary ocean liner.
Day 3 - Los Angeles - Santa Monica - Solvang - Bakersfield
On the third day, we bid farewell to Los Angeles and make our first stop at the iconic Santa Monica Pier, a favourite filming location in Hollywood movies. You'll have the opportunity to explore this vibrant area, known for its picturesque views and vibrant atmosphere. From there, we continue our journey to Solvang, a charming town that brings a touch of Denmark to California. Stroll through its quaint streets and experience its unique culture. Later, we proceed to Bakersfield, where we'll conclude our travels for the day.
Day 4 - Bakersfield - Sequoia National Park - Fresno
After breakfast, we embark on an exciting journey that takes us from arid landscapes to the lush wilderness of Sequoia National Park. Leaving the desert behind, we venture into one of the USA's most remarkable forests, home to the extraordinary Giant Sequoias. Here, we explore the park's majestic landscapes and encounter the iconic General Sherman tree—the largest in the world. Enjoy the opportunity to capture stunning photographs and take a leisurely stroll amidst these towering natural wonders. Later, we continue our adventure to Fresno, soaking in the diverse Californian scenery along the way.
Day 5 - Fresno - Yosemite - San Francisco
Following breakfast, we embark on a journey to explore another iconic national treasure: Yosemite National Park. Renowned for its breathtaking cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and lush vegetation, Yosemite offers some of the most stunning mountain vistas in the world. We'll visit its most celebrated landmarks, including El Capitan, Half Dome, and its majestic waterfalls. There will be leisurely time for you to enjoy lunch amidst this natural splendour. In the afternoon, we continue on to San Francisco, where we will arrive by late afternoon, ready to delve into the vibrant culture and charm of this renowned city.
Day 6 - San Francisco
After breakfast, we will embark on a city tour of San Francisco, exploring its diverse and vibrant neighbourhoods. Our journey begins at Union Square, where you'll see the iconic trams bustling through the area, followed by a visit to the lively Chinatown. We'll drive through the Financial and Theater Districts before reaching the Civic Center and Alamo Square. Here, you can admire the famous Painted Ladies, Victorian houses set against the backdrop of San Francisco's modern skyline, a familiar scene from numerous films. As we continue, we'll pass through the Castro neighbourhood on our way to Twin Peaks, offering stunning panoramic views of the city and its bay. From there, we'll venture through the historic hippie enclave of Haight-Ashbury, culminating in a stop at Golden Gate Park. Our city exploration concludes at the world-renowned Golden Gate Bridge. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace. You might choose to join an optional tour to Sausalito, a charming city offering breathtaking vistas of San Francisco and its bay. In the evening, we will provide a transfer to North Beach, also known as "Little Italy," the vibrant nightlife hub of the city, replete with delightful restaurants.
Day 7 - San Francisco
