Day 1 - Prague
Upon your arrival in Prague, we will arrange a transfer to your hotel. There, you'll find the details of your welcome meeting with the guide on the information boards at reception. In the evening, we will facilitate a transfer to the lively Old Town Square, where you can savour dinner at one of the many enticing restaurants offering a diverse range of international cuisines, such as Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. After enjoying the vibrant atmosphere, we will return you to your hotel for the night. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Prague
Our day in Prague begins with an exploration of the city's magnificent Baroque architecture, guided by a knowledgeable local expert. We’ll embark on a panoramic tour, delving into the history and charm of Prague's most iconic monuments. Among the highlights is a visit to the majestic Prague Castle, where your admission is included, allowing you to discover its rich heritage. Following this, we’ll enjoy a delightful boat ride on the tranquil waters of the Vltava River, providing a unique perspective of the city's stunning vistas. In the afternoon, you're free to wander through the cobbled streets and vibrant neighbourhoods of Prague, soaking up its unique atmosphere and discovering hidden gems at your leisure.
Day 3 - Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
On day three, we set off early towards the picturesque region of Bavaria in Germany. Our first stop is Munich, where we will arrive by midday. Here, you'll have the opportunity to wander through the delightful historic city centre and savour a leisurely lunch at your own pace. In the afternoon, our journey takes us further to the enchanting Austrian Alps. We arrive in Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, nestled amidst breathtaking mountainous landscapes. You'll have the chance to explore the charming Old Town and perhaps enjoy dinner in the iconic Golden Roof area, surrounded by the scenic beauty of the region.
Day 4 - Innsbruck - Zurich
Start your day in Innsbruck by visiting the world-renowned Swarovski Crystal Worlds. We will explore its mesmerising gardens and gain insight into the intricate process of creating these dazzling pieces. Afterwards, you'll have some free time to wander around and soak up the Tyrolean atmosphere. We then journey to Zurich, taking in the breathtaking alpine panoramas along the way. Upon our arrival in Zurich, you can spend the evening exploring the historic city centre by the lake, with a tempting array of dining choices including Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, and traditional Swiss cuisine.
Day 5 - Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich
Today, we'll set out on a journey through breathtaking landscapes featuring towering mountains and pristine lakes. Our adventure begins in the Interlaken region, where you can savour a coffee break amid the stunning surroundings. We will then take a cable car up to a mountain, where a serene walk leads us to a suspended bridge. For those willing to embrace the thrill, crossing this bridge offers magnificent views of the nearby glaciers. We'll pause for an included lunch on the mountain, relishing the spectacular vistas.After descending, we'll head to Lucerne, one of Switzerland's most charming cities. You will have time to explore its beautiful streets and enticing architecture. We will return to Zurich later in the day. For those interested, there is an optional excursion available – a full-day adventure that begins with a rotating cable car ride to the summit of Mount Titlis. Standing over 3,000 metres above sea level, the summit provides breathtaking views of the glacier and the Alps, adding an unforgettable chapter to your Swiss exploration.
Day 6 - Zurich - Strasbourg - Paris
Today, we will travel from Zurich to Strasbourg, the capital of the Alsace region in France. Strasbourg is a charming city that seamlessly blends French and German influences, offering a unique cultural experience. You'll have time to explore the city's picturesque streets and get a feel for its vibrant atmosphere before we continue on our journey. In the evening, we will arrive in Paris, where you can look forward to discovering the iconic charm of the City of Light.
Day 7 - Paris
Today, we delve into the opulent history of France with a visit to the illustrious Palace of Versailles. Known for its breathtaking gardens and grand architecture, the palace offers a glimpse into the lavish lifestyle of French royalty (admission not included). After soaking in the splendour of Versailles, we return to Paris to explore Montmartre, a vibrant, bohemian district renowned for its artistic heritage, famous painters, and lively cabarets. To get a true sense of Parisian grandeur, we embark on a guided panoramic city tour that takes us along the city’s majestic avenues and past its iconic landmarks. Following this exploration, we'll head back to the hotel. In the evening, if you wish, you can opt for an exciting variety show experience.
Day 8 - Paris - Rouen
Our day begins in the heart of Paris with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. You'll have the opportunity to ascend to the second floor and take in the breathtaking views from this renowned iron structure, with tickets included for your convenience. Following this, we’ll set sail on a relaxing cruise along the River Seine, offering a delightful perspective of Paris from the water. The afternoon is yours to explore the city at your own pace, perhaps visiting its various museums, parks, or cafes.Later, around 4:00 p.m., we will set off from Paris to the Normandy region, arriving in the historic city of Rouen. Once we've arrived, you will have free time to wander through Rouen's charming centre, which features well-preserved medieval architecture and a remarkable Gothic cathedral. This dynamic city, with its roots in Roman times, offers a rich tapestry of history and culture waiting to be discovered. Please note, should the wait times at the Eiffel Tower be excessive, our visit may be rescheduled to another convenient time, possibly on Sunday, to ensure the best experience.
Day 9 - Rouen - English Channel - Canterbury - London
Today, take a leisurely stroll through the heart of Rouen, a city steeped in history with its charming medieval architecture and majestic Gothic cathedral. Once we've savoured the essence of Rouen, we'll travel north through the picturesque French countryside towards the English Channel. We'll cross by ferry, arriving in Canterbury, the ecclesiastical heart of England, celebrated for its well-preserved historic centre. From there, we'll proceed to London, where you'll have some free time to explore the iconic area around Tower Bridge, one of the city's most recognisable landmarks, before heading to our hotel for the evening.
Day 10 - London
Begin your exploration of London with a guided panoramic tour that delves into the city's rich heritage and vibrant culture. You'll visit some of the capital's most iconic sights, including the majestic Houses of Parliament, the historic River Thames, and the stately Buckingham Palace, where the Changing of the Guard may be in progress, depending on the day's schedule. As evening falls, we'll gather in Piccadilly for a leisurely stroll through the bustling districts of Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho. Known for their vibrant nightlife, theatres, and diverse dining options, these areas offer an array of restaurants where you can savour dinner on your own before we return to our hotel.
Day 11 - London
After breakfast, we'll visit the British Museum, famed for being one of the world's oldest and most distinguished museums, showcasing artefacts from a wide array of global cultures. At lunchtime, we'll head to Camden, renowned for its lively and diverse market, where you can discover unique items reflecting various cultures. The rest of the afternoon is yours to spend as you wish. Our journey concludes today, but you'll leave with cherished memories of your experiences.
