Day 1 - Prague
Welcome to Prague. Upon arrival at the airport, we will transfer you to your hotel. Please check the information boards in the hotel reception for details about the welcome meeting with your guide. In the evening, we will take you to the bustling Old Town Square, a vibrant hub filled with visitors. You can enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants serving a variety of international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. After dinner, we will provide a transfer back to your hotel.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Prague
Today, we explore Prague, often called the Baroque jewel of Europe. A local guide will take us on a panoramic tour of the city, highlighting its most remarkable monuments. We will visit Prague Castle, with admission included, where you can appreciate its historical significance and stunning architecture. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a boat ride on the Vltava River, offering a unique perspective of the city’s landmarks. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to discover Prague at your own pace.
Day 3 - Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
We depart early this morning, travelling to Bavaria in Germany. By midday, we arrive in Munich where you have free time to explore the historic city centre and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, we continue into Austria, reaching Innsbruck nestled in the heart of the Alps. You’ll have time to discover the city’s charming Old Town and the famous Golden Roof area. There will also be an opportunity for dinner before our overnight stay.
Day 4 - Innsbruck - Salzburg
Today we’ll visit the Swarovski Museum, renowned for its exquisite crystal creations. Admission is included as we explore the impressive gardens and learn about the manufacturing process. Afterwards, you’ll have free time to wander through the historic centre of Innsbruck. We then travel along scenic mountain roads to Kitzbühel, a famous Tyrolean town known for its ski resort and the legendary Hahnenkamm Race, one of the world’s most prestigious alpine skiing events. Our day concludes as we arrive in Salzburg.
Day 5 - Salzburg - Lake Traunsee - Vienna
Today, we’ll explore Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart. The city’s Renaissance and Baroque architecture creates a stunning backdrop beneath its imposing fortress. Afterwards, we’ll travel through scenic lake and mountain regions to reach St Wolfgang, a well-known pilgrimage site. Next, we arrive in Traunkirchen on the shores of Lake Traunsee, where we’ll take a cruise included in your trip. This leisurely boat ride reveals four castles along the lake before we disembark in Gmunden. From there, we continue on to Vienna, arriving in the evening to begin the next chapter of your Austrian experience.
Day 6 - Vienna
Today, we begin with a panoramic tour of Vienna led by a local guide. You’ll see the city’s grand avenues, magnificent palaces, expansive parks, and the vibrant city centre. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace. Later, we include a transfer to Grinzing, a historic wine-growing district now part of Vienna, known for its charming traditional taverns. You’ll have the evening free to enjoy dinner there.
Day 7 - Vienna - Budapest
We’ll travel for around three hours to reach Budapest, the vibrant capital of Hungary. Our first stop is the bustling Váci utca, where you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch at your leisure. Afterwards, we’ll begin our visit with an included boat trip along the Danube River, offering striking views of historic Buda on one side and the bustling Pest on the other. Following the cruise, we’ll take a panoramic tour of Budapest—often called the “Queen of the Danube”—highlighting its key landmarks. You’ll then have some free time to explore independently. In the evening, there’s an optional outing to a traditional Magyar show, which includes dinner.
Day 8 - Budapest
After breakfast, our time together concludes, leaving you with lasting memories of your journey.
