Day 1 - Frankfurt
Welcome to your journey in Frankfurt. Upon your arrival, we will arrange your transfer to the hotel, where you can enjoy some leisure time. Later in the afternoon, make sure to check the boards at the hotel reception for information about the start of your tour. We hope your time here sets the stage for an exciting adventure ahead. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Amsterdam
Today, we embark on a delightful journey featuring some of Germany's most scenic landscapes. We will set sail on a picturesque cruise along the Rhine River, travelling between the charming villages of Rüdesheim and St. Goar. This section of the river is renowned for its breathtaking beauty, offering vistas of steep vineyards, medieval castles, and quaint towns. Following the cruise, we will journey to Cologne, a city famed for its formidable Gothic cathedral, an architectural masterpiece that towers over the cityscape. After taking in the sights of Cologne, we'll turn our attention northwards as we head towards the Netherlands, arriving in the vibrant city of Amsterdam in the evening.
Day 3 - Amsterdam
Today, we explore the quintessential charm of Holland, beginning with a visit to Zaanse Schans. Here, you'll discover quaint houses, tranquil canals, and iconic windmills that capture the essence of Dutch tradition. Our adventure continues to Volendam, a picturesque fishing village offering a delightful atmosphere. From there, a brief boat ride takes us to Marken, a quaint locale once an island and now connected to the mainland by a sturdy dike. The traditional houses here were historically built on stilts to combat frequent flooding.In the afternoon, we will embark on a guided tour of Amsterdam, showcasing a blend of the city's cultural and historical highlights. Witness the iconic silhouette of the windmill and the statue of Rembrandt, stroll through the sophisticated South District, and learn about the art of diamond cutting at the renowned Museum Square. Our walking tour culminates in the vibrant heart of the city, where you’ll have free time to delve into Amsterdam’s lively canals, bustling markets, and inviting cafés.
Day 4 - Amsterdam - Bruges - Paris
Today, we journey to Bruges, often referred to as the "Venice of the North" due to its enchanting canals. The city offers a truly magical ambience with its cobbled streets, historic architecture, and atmospheric bridges. While here, you might choose to climb the Belfry Tower for breathtaking panoramic views or indulge in some world-renowned Belgian chocolate. Alternatively, you could sample a local craft beer. Our adventure continues as we set off for Paris, where we will arrive by the end of the day.
Day 5 - Paris
We begin our day in the stunning surroundings of the Palace of Versailles, a masterpiece of French baroque architecture famous for its exquisite gardens. Although admission is not included, the grandeur of the palace exterior and its sprawling grounds should not be missed. Upon returning to Paris, we’ll explore Montmartre, a delightful bohemian district known for its vibrant artistic community, cabarets, and picturesque streets. Our journey through Paris continues with a guided panoramic tour, revealing the city's majestic avenues and iconic landmarks. After the tour, we’ll make our way back to the hotel. For those interested, the evening offers the option to attend a variety show.
Day 6 - Paris
We begin our day in the heart of Paris with a visit to the renowned Eiffel Tower. You’ll have the opportunity to ascend to the second floor of this iconic iron structure, with entrance tickets provided. Following this, we’ll indulge in a leisurely cruise along the Seine River, which lasts approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, offering charming views of Paris from the water. The afternoon is yours to explore the city at your leisure, allowing you to uncover its many delightful corners. Please note that the return transfer to the hotel is not included. If the wait times at the Eiffel Tower are excessively long, we may reschedule the visit for later in the day or move it to Sunday to ensure a more enjoyable experience.
Day 7 - Paris
Following breakfast, our journey concludes, leaving you with cherished memories of your travels. Safe travels as you prepare for your onward journey or your journey home.
