Itinerary
Day 1 - Delhi - Agra
Delhi – Agra (210 km – approx. 4 hours). We collect you from your Delhi hotel between 7–9 am for the drive to Agra. On arrival, we check in and freshen up before visiting the Taj Mahal – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – to appreciate its symmetry, fine marble inlay work and reflecting pools set within formal gardens.
We continue to Agra Fort, the red sandstone stronghold of the Mughal emperors, exploring its palaces, halls and viewpoints across the Yamuna towards the Taj. We then visit Itmad–ud–Daula, often called the Baby Taj, commissioned by Nur Jahan for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg and noted for its delicate marble lattice and floral motifs. In your free time, you can browse local shops for souvenirs such as marble artefacts, leather goods and traditional clothing. Overnight in Agra.
Day 2 - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Delhi
After breakfast, we drive from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri, the 16th‑century Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar and later abandoned due to scarce water. We explore the key monuments spread across this remarkable red‑sandstone complex, including Diwan‑E‑Khas, Jodha Bai Palace, Jama Masjid, the Tomb of Salim Chishti, Panch Mahal and the towering Buland Darwaza. After sightseeing, we continue by road back to Delhi – around 260 km, approximately 4 hours – and drop you at your hotel or the airport, bringing your tour to a close.
