Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Nairobi

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative for a short safari briefing before being transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 - Nairobi to Nanyuki & Animal Orphanage
Nairobi - Nanyuki. After an early breakfast, depart Nairobi and travel north to Nanyuki, enjoying a scenic drive through Kenya’s central highlands. On arrival in Nanyuki enjoy lunch at The Trout Tree Restaurant, set within a sacred fig tree on the banks of the Burguret River. Here, fresh trout is sourced from the icy, Mount Kenya-fed waters below.
After lunch, continue your journey to Mount Kenya Safari Club, and enjoy a tour of the Animal Orphanage. Afterwards, drive to your hotel, where there's time to freshen up before dinner.
Day 3 - Discovering the Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Nanyuki - Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Nanyuki. This morning, depart with picnic lunch boxes and drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy for game drives, a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and the education centre, where you can feed Baraka, the tame blind black rhino. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is home to Kenya’s largest population of black rhino, as well as elephant, cheetah, lion and leopard. You may also spot rare northern species such as Grevy’s zebra, Jackson’s hartebeest and Beisa oryx.
Later in the afternoon, go on a lion tracking experience. You will be picked up at 3:30 pm in a shared conservancy vehicle, with the activity finishing at around 5:30 pm. You are required to remain in the vehicle at all times. Drinking water, lion ID sheets and pens are provided, and you may wish to bring your camera and binoculars. After the tour return to your to freshen up before dinner.
Day 4 - Lake Naivasha Boat Ride & Wildlife Walk

Nanyuki - Lake Naivasha - Crescent Island Game Sanctuary - Naivasha. This morning drive from the Kenya Highlands down into the Great Rift Valley and on to Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya’s most beautiful lakes. Arriving in time for lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can get close to cormorants drying their wings, pink-backed pelicans, herons, colourful kingfishers and fish eagles. Then continue to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, where you can walk among wildlife including Maasai giraffe, dik-dik, zebra, impala and gazelle.
After the visit, return to your lodge for dinner.
Day 5 - Journey to the Masai Mara & Afternoon Game Drive

Naivasha - Masai Mara. Today you are off to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at the camp, followed by some time to relax in your tent. Later in the afternoon, as the temperature begins to cool, head out on your first game drive in the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most renowned wildlife reserves.
Day 6 - Masai Mara Game Drives & Optional Activities

This morning head out across the Masai Mara plains on a game drive, in search of the Big Five and other wildlife. Early morning is one of the best times for game viewing, as animals are most active before the heat of the day sets in.
After some time to relax and enjoy lunch, set out on an afternoon game drive, with the chance to tick off more animals on your must-see list. Keep your eyes peeled as you search for the remaining wildlife on your list. You will also visit the Mara River, where your guide will show you the regular river crossing routes.
Day 7 - Game Viewing & Optional Experiences

Spend another day enjoying game viewing in the Masai Mara National Reserve, with morning and afternoon game drives.
You may also choose to take part in optional activities at an additional cost, including a hot air balloon safari over the Masai Mara or a visit to a local Maasai manyatta village.
Day 8 - Masai Mara flight to Nairobi
Masai Mara - Nairobi. After your final breakfast, you depart for the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Nairobi Airport for your onward flight. Safe travels!

Prices & Dates
The 'Twin/Double' price is per person when there are 2 persons sharing a room. The 'Single' price is applicable when a single room is required, based on a travelling party of at least 2 adults. On this tour the minimum age is 8. Child pricing is applicable to a child aged 8 to 11 years, sharing a room with 2 adults. If there is 1 adult and 1 child or 2 adults and 2 children, adults must pay the Single room rate, for the child rate to apply. Please note: prices are indicative and final pricing may therefore vary, depending on hotel availability.
