Itinerary
Day 1 - Marrakech

Arrive into Marrakech Airport and transfer to your accommodation. After check-in, the remainder of the day is free for you to relax after your journey or begin to explore the city.
Day 2 - Exploring Marrakech

In the morning, enjoy a half-day city tour of Marrakech, focusing on the old medina. You explore the souks, with their colourful displays of spices, textiles and handicrafts, and visit historic palaces and a madrassa that reflect the city’s importance as an imperial capital and centre of learning.
The afternoon is free for you to spend as you wish. You may choose to explore the modern streets of Gueliz, known for its cafés and shops, or enjoy a more relaxing experience with a visit to a local hammam or by joining a cookery course to learn about Moroccan cuisine.
Day 3 - Into the High Atlas

Marrakech - Toubkal National Park - Ouirgane. Travel to the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying views over Lake Takerkoust as you climb towards the Plateau du Kik. This high, open plateau is dotted with small settlements and terraced fields, offering a glimpse of traditional Berber farming life set against a dramatic mountain backdrop.
Continue into Toubkal National Park and descend into the Ouirgane Valley, an area of rolling hills, walnut and oak trees, and scattered villages. You have time for a walk through the oak forests and nearby Berber villages, experiencing the quiet pace of life in the mountains. Spend the night in a traditional rural ksar, a fortified Berber village
Day 4 - Walking Around Lake Ouirgane

A mule carries your picnic as you set out to discover the area around Lake Ouirgane, with gentle walking through the surrounding countryside and mountain scenery. The lake and its setting offer a peaceful contrast to the busier cities, with views across the valley and towards the High Atlas peaks.
During the day, you stop to enjoy tea with a local Berber family, providing an insight into daily life and traditional hospitality in the region. Spend a second night in your ksar.
Day 5 - Imlil, Mountain Villages & Kasbah Tamadot

Ouirgane - Imlil - Aremd - Ouirgane. Today you visit the mountain village of Imlil, widely used as the base camp for ascents of Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak. Set at the end of a scenic valley, Imlil is surrounded by terraced fields and traditional Berber villages.
From here, enjoy a short walk to the village of Aremd, passing walnut trees and stone houses, before experiencing a Berber hammam at a local gîte, offering a glimpse into everyday mountain life. After lunch, visit Richard Branson’s Kasbah Tamadot for mint tea, set high above the valley with sweeping views across the High Atlas. Return to Ouirgane in the afternoon.
Day 6 - Agafay Desert Camp

Ouirgane - Agafay. Descend from the mountains towards the rocky desert of Agafay, located just outside Marrakech. This stark, lunar-like landscape has been used as a backdrop for films such as Prince of Persia, offering wide open views and a dramatic contrast to the nearby Atlas Mountains.
On arrival, you can experience the terrain with a camel ride or try a quad bike across the desert, taking in the rugged scenery at a relaxed pace. As evening falls, settle into a fixed luxury desert camp, where dinner is served under the stars in a peaceful desert setting. Overnight in a luxury desert camp.
Day 7 - Marrakech

Agafay - Marrakech. Your tour comes to an end after breakfast and hotel check-out. An included transfer takes you to the airport.
