Itinerary
Day 1 - Travel to Huaraz

We transfer to the bus station in Lima and depart by bus for Huaraz. We arrive at night and continue with a transfer to the hotel for check in.
Day 2 - Explore Around Huaraz

In the morning, we explore the northern stretch of the Santa River Valley between the Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Negra, admiring the Andean towns of Carhuaz, Mancos and Yungay and taking in views of the region’s principal snow covered peaks. We then ascend into the Cordillera Blanca to the Llanganuco valley within Huascaran National Park, where we admire a lagoon with striking turquoise blue waters, varied Andean flora and the surrounding peaks. We stop for lunch in Caraz, then return to Huaraz for the night.
Day 3 - Discover Chavin De Huantar & Overnight Journey to Lima

We visit one of Peru’s most important ceremonial centres – over 3,000 years old and considered the first high Peruvian culture. We explore its monumental architecture, including sunken plazas and underground galleries, and view notable stone works such as the Lanzon de Chavin and Estelas with anthropomorphic representations. We also see the Portada de las Falconidas, recognised for its blocks and cornices, and the Cabezas Clavas that surround the Main Temple. Lunch is included. We return to the hotel, then in the evening we transfer to the bus station for our departure to Lima.
Day 4 - Goodbye Lima

Arrive in Lima this morning. We’ll meet you at the bus station and provide a direct transfer to your hotel or to the airport.
