Itinerary
Day 1 - Madrid
We meet at the designated point in Madrid at 8:30 in the morning, with departures from selected hotels as detailed in your travel documents. From there, we travel south through the plains of La Mancha, famously associated with Don Quixote. After a brief stop in Puerto Lápice, we cross the natural boundary of Despeñaperros and enter Andalusia, a region rich in historical heritage. Upon arrival in Córdoba, we explore the city’s remarkable mosque and other significant sites. You can then unwind with a stroll through the narrow, winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, we take a short two-hour drive to reach Seville, where we stay overnight.
Day 2 - Seville
After breakfast, we begin a panoramic tour of Seville. Admire the exterior of the city’s cathedral, the second largest Catholic cathedral after St. Peter’s in Rome. We then explore the Santa Cruz quarter, a charming neighbourhood known as the setting for the opera Carmen and linked to the legend of Don Juan. Later, we visit Maria Luisa Park and the impressive Plaza de España. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure—perhaps to discover unique viewpoints or sample the vibrant flavours of this lively city. Overnight in Seville.
Day 3 - Torremolinos
After breakfast, we travel south, passing through several charming traditional villages before arriving in Ronda. Here, you have some free time to explore this town of Celtic origin and take in the stunning views of the valley and surrounding mountains. In the afternoon, we continue to the Costa del Sol, one of Spain’s most modern and popular international tourist regions. Overnight accommodation is arranged on the Costa del Sol.
Day 4 - Granada
After breakfast, we travel to Granada, a city renowned for its remarkable historical heritage as the final stronghold of the Moorish kingdoms until 1492. Upon arrival, we visit the famous Generalife Gardens, celebrated for their beauty and tranquillity, which inspired Washington Irving’s well-known "Tales of the Alhambra." Overnight in Granada.
Day 5 - Madrid
After breakfast, we travel north to the striking city of Toledo, known as the Imperial City. Rising dramatically above the Tagus River, this UNESCO World Heritage site was once home to Christian, Muslim and Jewish communities. We explore its rich blend of art, history and spirituality on a guided tour through the winding streets of this National Monument. Afterwards, we continue on to Madrid, where the tour concludes. Breakfast is included.
