Itinerary
Day 1 - Madrid
Welcome to Madrid. Upon arrival at the airport, we will transfer you to your hotel, where you will have some free time before the tour begins. Please check the information boards at reception for details about the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travellers. In the evening, we will provide a transfer to Plaza Mayor and La Latina, Madrid’s most famous area for nightlife and tapas. You can choose to dine at a restaurant of your preference, with options including Indian, Chinese, Spanish, and Middle Eastern cuisine.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Madrid
We start the day with a thorough tour of central Madrid, taking in landmarks such as the Paseo del Prado, the impressive fountains of Cibeles and Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and the historic Plaza Mayor. Next, we visit Retiro Park, a tranquil green space in the heart of the city, where we see the lake and the stunning Palacio de Cristal. Included in the morning is admission to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the iconic home of Real Madrid. You’ll then have the afternoon free to explore at your own pace. In the evening, we provide transfer back to the hotel.
Day 3 - Madrid - Zaragoza - Poblet - Barcelona
We depart in the morning for Aragón, travelling through the Castilian countryside. Our first stop is Zaragoza, where we’ll visit the impressive Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, a significant religious site. Later, we’ll continue to Poblet Abbey, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries—the entrance fee is included. In the evening, we’ll arrive in Barcelona, where your overnight stay awaits.
Day 4 - Barcelona
We begin the day with a panoramic tour of Barcelona, a vibrant city on the Mediterranean known for its rich architectural heritage, especially the work of Gaudí, alongside its bustling La Rambla and the sites of past World Expositions and Olympic Games. The tour concludes at Maremagnum – a modern leisure and dining complex by the sea near Columbus Square – where you can explore at your own pace. The afternoon is yours to enjoy as you wish, with a return transfer to the hotel at the end of the day.
Day 5 - Barcelona
After breakfast, our tour concludes, leaving you with lasting memories of your time in Barcelona.

'Shared' prices are for solo travellers who are happy to share with another solo traveller of the same sex in a twin room - a single room will be provided at no additional cost if there are no suitable travellers to share with.
