Day 1 - New York - Philadephia - Washington DC
We depart bright and early for Philadelphia, where you'll explore the historic Independence National Park, home to the iconic Liberty Bell. Our journey then continues to the nation’s capital, Washington D.C. In the evening, we include a lively night out in Georgetown, known for its vibrant atmosphere and a plethora of bars and restaurants. Enjoy the evening at leisure before returning to your accommodation. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Washington DC
Following breakfast, we set off to explore Washington D.C. Our journey begins with a glimpse of the Pentagon as we head towards Virginia, where we pause for photos at the Iwo Jima Memorial. We then visit the iconic Lincoln, Korea, and Vietnam Memorials. Our tour continues with a stop at the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. You'll have the chance to snap pictures of the White House, before we circle around the Capitol, eventually reaching the museum district. In the afternoon, join us on a relaxing boat trip along the Potomac River, offering splendid views of some of the city's key landmarks. Please note, the river cruise is available from April to September, weather permitting. After our boat excursion, we return to the hotel. For those interested, there's an optional evening tour to see Washington illuminated at night, before we head back to our accommodation.
Day 3 - Washington DC - Lancaster - New York
On the morning of day three, we enjoy breakfast before departing Washington for Lancaster. Here, we’ll have the opportunity to witness the distinctive Amish farms and catch a glimpse of their unique 18th-century lifestyle. During our journey, we will pause for lunch. Afterwards, we continue on to New York, with an anticipated arrival in the late afternoon. Upon reaching New York, our services come to a close.
