Day 1 - London
As your adventure begins in London, we'll ensure a seamless start by arranging your transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival, you'll have some free time to settle in and perhaps explore the city at your own pace. In the afternoon, please refer to the information boards in the hotel reception area to familiarise yourself with the details of the tour's commencement. Get ready for an exciting journey ahead! Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - London
On the second day, we embark on a scenic morning tour of London, taking in renowned landmarks such as Westminster, the Parliament, the City, and the River Thames. In the afternoon, you're free to explore at your leisure. If there are fewer than ten travellers, instead of the guided panoramic tour, we will provide you with tickets for a hop-on hop-off bus tour. This option includes audio commentary through headphones, which you can enjoy throughout the day.
Day 3 - London - Cambridge - Coventry - Liverpool
Today, after a hearty breakfast, we embark on our journey north to the historic university town of Cambridge. Founded in 1209, this prestigious university city invites you to wander amidst its impressive neoclassical Gothic buildings, picturesque canals, and storied colleges. After soaking in the academic atmosphere, we continue our travels through the heart of England, enjoying the charming landscapes en route to Coventry. Known for its pivotal role in the car industry and its profound history, Coventry also boasts a poignant symbol of peace and reconciliation: its cathedral, tragically destroyed during World War II. Our adventure doesn’t stop there, as we journey onwards to Liverpool. Here, we offer you a brief bus tour of this World Heritage Site, famously tied to the Beatles and noted as the second-largest port in the United Kingdom.
Day 4 - Liverpool - Stratford - Oxford - London
Today, we're venturing through the heart of England, beginning with a visit to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Here, you’ll have some free time to savour lunch and wander through this charming town, steeped in literary history. Next, we journey onwards to Oxford, a city celebrated globally for its centuries-old university and its monumental contributions to education and culture. Many luminaries, including kings and scientists, have walked these historic streets. By evening, we make our return to London. As our journey concludes, you'll be left with cherished memories of the enriching experiences shared. Please ensure you verify your flight details as you may require an additional night in London.
