Day 1 - Cruising Into Lan Ha Bay
Hanoi/Cat Ba - Cai Beo - Lan Ha Bay - Viet Hai Village. Arrive in Hanoi the day before the start of the tour. You are picked up between 7 am and 7:30 am from the Hanoi Old Quarter or the Hanoi Opera House, before travelling by shuttle bus to Cat Ba Town and transferring on to Cai Beo Cruise Port.
If you have already made your way to Cat Ba, you are picked up from your hotel or stay in the centre of Cat Ba Town, before being transferred to the harbour to board the cruise at 11:30 am.
Our staff welcomes you on board at Cai Beo Cruise Port between 12 pm and 12:10 pm.
Between 12:30 pm and 1 pm, we check in, enjoy a welcome drink and hear a cruise briefing, before setting off into Lan Ha Bay. Lunch is enjoyed on board between 1:15 pm and 2:30 pm as we cruise past fascinating formations.
From 3 pm to 5 pm, you have the option of joining a kayaking trip or simply relaxing on a wild beach on one of the bay's islands.
Back on board between 5:30 pm and 7:15 pm, we freshen up before enjoying some relaxing time on the sundeck, followed by an authentic Vietnamese cooking demonstration and a barbecue dinner together. After dinner, you can relax on the sundeck, enjoy a drink at the bar, or join an optional night squid fishing trip, before an overnight stay in Lan Ha Bay.
Day 2 - Viet Hai Village and Disembarkation
Lan Ha Bay - Viet Hai Village - Cai Beo - Cat Ba/Hanoi. We start the day early with a gentle tai chi session between 6:15 am and 7 am.
Between 7 am and 7:50 am, we take in the morning view of the bay with a cup of tea or coffee, before sitting down to breakfast in the boat's dining area as we cruise towards Viet Hai fishing village.
Between 8 am and 9:30 am, you have the option of exploring the village by bicycle or electric car, taking in local life among the lush greenery of Cat Ba Island. br>
\You disembark at Cai Beo Cruise Port between 11:45 am and 12 pm. Those staying on Cat Ba are transferred to their hotel or stay in the centre of Cat Ba Town, while those returning to Hanoi are first transferred to Cat Ba Town, before continuing on the shuttle bus back to Hanoi.
