Most of tour seemed more like a college course in Egypt history. TOO much information being bombarded on us. Not enough time to just look and enjoy. It was just a barage of lets go here, here, here.

We were able to see the most recommended "must sees" and it really was well structured for this purpose. Even with all the planned visits we still had some independent time to explore on our own and not always be in transit. A really good itinerary. From an accommodation perspective the Night Train was not comfortable or relaxing. Having said that, travel at night meant more time at the sites and we did get a lot of laughs out of the experience.

The roads used for Abu Simbel and Luxor because of tourist checkpoints are very poor quality makes the trips uncomfortable and long. Aswan hotel pool under maintenance - disappointing.
