Itinerary
Day 1 - Puno
We travel by road from Puno to Luquina, a community on the shores of Lake Titicaca – the highest navigable lake in the world. On arrival, we settle into local home accommodation. In the evening, we enjoy a traditional dinner prepared with fresh regional ingredients – a first taste of community life by the lake. Overnight in Luquina.
Day 2 - Lake Titicaca (Peru)
After breakfast, we board a boat across Lake Titicaca to visit the Uros Floating Islands and Taquile Island, where community members guide us through local customs, ancestral traditions and daily life on the lake. We enjoy lunch in a scenic setting before returning by boat to Luquina. In the evening, we share a home‑cooked dinner followed by a cultural experience with traditional dances performed by the community – then gather around a bonfire under the stars. Overnight in Luquina.
Day 3 - Puno
After breakfast, we travel by road back to Puno – a straightforward return that brings your Lake Titicaca stay and time with the Luquina community to a close.
