Visa Procurement
Please be advised that visa requirements are subject to change and that visa procurement is the responsibility of the traveller and not On The Go Tours. Please also ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your planned date of departure from Ecuador.
After booking your holiday, please provide us with your passport details as soon as possible so that we can book any domestic flights tickets included within the tour.
Visa Requirements
UK, US, Canadian, South African, Australian and New Zealand passport holders do not require a visa for entry into Ecuador.
If you are a passport holder of another nationality, check with the local embassy for more information on visa requirements for Ecuador.
YELLOW FEVER VACCINATION REQUIREMENT
It will be mandatory for certain travellers to present an International Vaccination Certificate against yellow fever upon entering Ecuador, starting May 12, 2025.
This only applies to the following travellers:
• Peruvian, Colombian, Bolivian or Brazilian passport holders, or other citizens who reside in these countries.
• Travelers of any nationality who have spent more than 10 days in transit or visiting Peru, Colombia, Bolivia or Brazil before arriving in Ecuador.
The certificate must indicate that the vaccine was administered at least 10 days prior to arriving in Ecuador.
Visiting the Galapagos Islands
As the Galapagos Islands are technically a part of Ecuador, you will need a visa for Ecuador if you are visiting the archipelago. This applies whether or not you are visiting Quito or elsewhere on the mainland.
