Fly on to Guayaquil for a taste of the city, then head to Santa Cruz’s highlands – think Twin Craters, lava tunnels and roaming giant tortoises. Day 1 - Welcome to Cusco and Inca Ruins Exploration

On arrival at Cuzco Airport – flights connect via Lima – our driver will be waiting with a sign bearing your name for a private transfer to your hotel.
After you check in, we head out with your guide to the Inca sites above the city, visiting the Sacsayhuaman Fortress with its immense zigzag stone walls, the red fort of Puca Pucara, the Qenko Amphitheatre and Tambomachay, known as the Inca baths.
We explore on foot before returning to your hotel. The evening is at leisure – you can relax after the journey.
Day 2 - Sacred Valley Discovery and Journey to Aguas Calientes

We spend the day in the Sacred Valley – a key area of Inca settlement thanks to its agreeable climate and fertile plains. In the morning we visit Pisac market, where people from remote communities gather in colourful, traditional dress. In the afternoon we tour the Ollantaytambo ruins; one of the best-preserved sectors, Hanan Hucaypata, lies north of the main square.
After lunch we board the train with panoramic windows for the scenic journey towards Machu Picchu. In the evening we have dinner – drinks not included.
Day 3 - Machu Picchu, Lost City of the Incas

We begin with a short walk to the bus station for the shared shuttle up to Machu Picchu – the service runs Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes for our visit. Set on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba River canyon, Machu Picchu is an outstanding example of landscape architecture.
It once served as a place of worship and for stargazing, and in 2007 was named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. In the afternoon we take the Executive Train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, then continue by private vehicle with our guide to Cuzco. Accommodation at Munay Wasi Inn Hotel or similar.
Day 4 - Cusco to Guayaquil

We transfer you to Cuzco Airport for your flight to Guayaquil. On arrival, the hotel shuttle collects you and takes you to your accommodation. Depending on your flight schedule, we take an evening city tour of Guayaquil – around three hours.

Day 5 - Arrival in the Galápagos, Santa Cruz Highlands and Giant Tortoises

On arrival at Baltra Airport (GPS), we meet you and head into the highlands of Santa Cruz, stopping at Los Gemelos – the Twin Craters – which face one another. If your flight arrives before 14:00, we have lunch in the highlands and visit the lava tunnels.
We then continue to Rancho Primicias in the humid highlands, where tortoises migrate from the park onto the property at certain times of the year. Later, we transfer you to Puerto Ayora to check in.
Day 6 - Galápagos Island Excursion and Snorkelling Adventure

Today we board a boat to one of the uninhabited islands – Floreana, Bartolome or North Seymour. Share your preference in advance and we’ll do our best to arrange it, though the final island depends on availability and cannot be guaranteed. The crossing takes roughly 30 minutes to two and a half hours, depending on the destination.
On arrival, we take a short guided hike to observe the land species, then head into the water for snorkelling. We return to the village at around 16:00, and you may have time to visit the Charles Darwin Station independently. Accommodation at Fiesta Hotel or similar.
Day 7 - San Cristóbal and Isla Lobos Wildlife Experience

At 07:00 we take the public speedboat to San Cristobal. On arrival, our driver meets us for a transfer to the hotel, and the rest of the morning is free – you can visit La Loberia beach independently. At 13:00 we board a boat to Isla Lobos, where there is a high chance of seeing blue-footed boobies and a large Galapagos sea lion colony.
The crossing takes around 20 minutes and, on arrival, we have a snack or a basic local lunch. We then set off on a hike of about 1.5 hours before snorkelling.
Day 8 - Departure from the Galápagos
After breakfast, we transfer you to San Cristobal Airport – a drive of around five minutes. This morning, you usually have time to visit Playa Mann to see the sea lions or head to the Interpretation Centre independently, depending on your flight schedule.
The tour concludes on arrival at the airport, where you depart for Quito or Guayaquil.
