Day 3 - Yellowstone by Snowcoach

West Yellowstone - Yellowstone National Park - West Yellowstone. Today we're exploring America and the world's oldest and perhaps most famous national park. The thick snows of winter mean we need to climb aboard a snowcoach in order to navigate the terrain. With the extra elevation from the big wheels, we can enjoy great views of the snowy landscapes and hopefully spot wildlife from our vantage point. We'll be accompanied by an expert Yellowstone guide for today's tour.

During the tour, we take in some of Yellowstone's top attractions, including the Old Faithful geyser, Madison River and Fountain Paint Pots. Lunch is included and we'll stop at other points of interest as we make our way back to West Yellowstone. An optional snowmobile tour to Old Faithful is also available today - all equipment and instruction is provided. Spend a second night at the hotel in West Yellowstone.

Day 4 - Grand Teton National Park & National Elk Refuge

West Yellowstone - Jackson - National Elk Refuge - Grand Teton National Park - Jackson. Say goodbye to West Yellowstone and Montana as we make our way to Wyoming and the town of Jackson, where we'll be staying tonight. There's free time for lunch before we visit the nearby National Elk Refuge, the winter home for thousands of elk, as well as other species like bighorn sheep, wolves and grizzlies, who will most likely be hibernating through the winter months. We'll take a horse-drawn sleigh ride into the huge herds of grazing elk.

From the National Elk Refuge, we make our way to Grand Teton National Park, with time spent exploring the park and spotting wildlife. The evening is at leisure back in Jackson.

We'll tour the Olympic Park, which hosted events for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Take in the Utah Ski and Olympic Museum, three Nordic Jumps along with the Bobsled and Luge Track, which has some of the fastest ice on earth.

Arriving back in the Utah capital, we'll head out for a group farewell dinner together.
