Itinerary
Day 1 - Montreal
Welcome to Montréal. We arrange your transfer to the hotel, after which you have time at leisure. You will receive details about the start of the tour this afternoon, or you can check the information boards at reception.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Montreal - Quebec
After breakfast, we enjoy a panoramic tour of Montréal, taking in Mount Royal Park, Saint Joseph’s Oratory and the cathedral. After lunch, we continue to Québec City for our overnight stay.
Day 3 - Quebec
After breakfast, we explore Québec City on a panoramic tour, including Château Frontenac, Place Royale, Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré and the Citadelle. In the afternoon, you have free time – you may wish to visit Montmorency Falls.
Day 4 - Quebec - Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts - Mont-Tremblant - Ottawa
After breakfast, we set off through classic Canadian scenery towards the Laurentian Hills, pausing in the charming town of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts before continuing to Mont-Tremblant, renowned for its ski resort. We then travel on to Ottawa, Canada’s capital, for our stay.
Day 5 - Ottawa - Thousand Islands - Toronto
After breakfast, we tour Ottawa, visiting the Rideau Canal and the Parliament Buildings, where we watch the Changing of the Guard (July and August only). We then continue to Gananoque to take a sightseeing cruise on the St Lawrence River through the Thousand Islands. After disembarking, we head south and reach our hotel in Toronto in the late afternoon.
Day 6 - Toronto
After breakfast, we take a sightseeing tour of Toronto, including Chinatown, City Hall, the Financial District, the Eaton Centre, Casa Loma and other key landmarks. In the afternoon, you can visit the CN Tower, shop at the Eaton Centre or explore the underground network of shopping arcades beneath the financial district – about 25 km in length. In the evening, you may like to visit Queens Quay, a lively waterfront area with many restaurants.
Day 7 - Toronto - Niagara-on-the-Lake - Niagara Falls
After breakfast, we travel to the delightful town of Niagara-on-the-Lake for a stroll, then continue to Niagara Falls. We pause for photos at the Floral Clock before boarding the Hornblower Niagara Cruise, which carries us to the foot of the famous falls. Afterwards, you have free time to enjoy the Clifton Hill attractions. In the late afternoon, we arrive at our hotel in Niagara Falls.
Day 8 - Niagara Falls - Corning - New York
After breakfast, we depart for New York, stopping in Corning, home to the largest collection of glass objects in the world – you can visit the spectacular museum if you wish – before continuing to New York City.
Day 9 - New York
After breakfast, we take a panoramic tour of Manhattan – uptown, midtown and downtown – visiting Wall Street, Rockefeller Center, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Central Park, Columbus Circle, the AOL/Time Warner Building, the Village, Little Italy and Battery Park with views of the Statue of Liberty. In the evening, we include a transfer to Times Square, the vibrant heart of the city with Broadway’s musicals and dazzling lights. If the confirmed hotel is in the Times Square area, no additional transfer is provided.
Day 10 - New York
After breakfast, our services conclude.
