Day 1 - Montreal
Welcome to Montreal. We’ll meet you on arrival and transfer you to your hotel, after which you have the rest of the day free to relax. This afternoon we’ll share details about the start of the tour – or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception for timings and updates.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Montreal - Quebec
After breakfast this morning, we set out on a panoramic tour of Montréal, taking in Mount Royal Park, St Joseph’s Oratory and the Cathedral. After time for lunch, we depart for Québec City – arriving to check in and settle into our hotel.
Day 3 - Quebec
After breakfast, we set out in the morning on a panoramic tour of Québec City, taking in key sights including Château Frontenac, Place Royale, Sainte Anne de Beaupré and the Citadelle. The afternoon is free – you may wish to visit Montmorency Falls.
Day 4 - Quebec - Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts - Mont-Tremblant - Ottawa
After breakfast we set off by road through classic Canadian landscapes, travelling into the Laurentian Hills. We pause in the charming town of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts before continuing to Mont-Tremblant, known for its world-famous ski resort. From there, we carry on to Ottawa – the capital of Canada – arriving for our stay.
Day 5 - Ottawa - Thousand Islands - Toronto
After breakfast, we set out on a city tour of Ottawa, visiting the Rideau Canal and the Parliament Buildings – in July and August, we watch the Changing of the Guard. We then continue to Gananoque for a sightseeing cruise on the St Lawrence River through the Thousand Islands. After disembarking, we head south to Toronto, arriving at our hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 6 - Toronto
After breakfast, we set out on a panoramic tour of Toronto, taking in Chinatown, City Hall, the Financial District, the Eaton Centre, Casa Loma and other key sights. The afternoon is free – you can visit the CN Tower, shop at the Eaton Centre or explore the underground city, a network of walkways and gallerias beneath the financial district stretching for around 25 km. In the evening, you may choose to visit Queens Quay, a lively area with plenty of restaurants. Accommodation in Toronto.
Day 7 - Toronto - Niagara-on-the-Lake - Niagara Falls - Toronto
After breakfast, we travel to the beautiful town of Niagara-on-the-Lake for a leisurely stroll, then continue to Niagara Falls. We stop for photos at the Floral Clock before boarding the Hornblower Niagara Cruise – a small boat that takes us to the foot of the famous falls. After the cruise, you will have free time to explore the attractions on Clifton Hill. We return to Toronto in the afternoon.
Day 8 - Toronto
After breakfast in Toronto, our journey ends – please check out of the hotel and make your own onward travel arrangements.
