Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Paphos
On arrival at Paphos Airport, a representative meets you and takes you to your transfer. The 13 km drive to your accommodation in Paphos takes around 30 minutes. Once you have settled into your room, the rest of the day is free. You could take a first stroll along the seafront or simply unwind after the journey.
Day 2 - Platres and the Caledonia Falls
After an early breakfast at our accommodation, we board the coach with our guide for the first adventure of the tour. Our first stop is a fruit plantation in Kolossi, where there is a chance to try fresh lemonade. Fruit is also on sale if you would like to take some with you.
From here, we head further into the mountains to the pretty hilltop village of Platres. This is the starting point for a 3 km nature trail that follows the bubbling Kryos Potamos stream through verdant forest. At the Caledonia Falls, we take a break beside this shaded freshwater retreat.
The walk then continues to the well-known Psilo Dendro restaurant, which has its very own trout farm. We relax over lunch here, where trout is unsurprisingly the speciality. After an amble through Platres village, we head back to Paphos.
Please note: Today covers around 170 km, with approximately 3.5 hours by coach and a 2-hour hike.
Day 3 - Half-Day Cruise from Paphos
This morning, after an early breakfast, you are collected from your accommodation for a half-day cruise that mixes relaxation and activity. Once you have settled on board in Paphos, you set off for just over three hours on the water. You can pick your spot on deck as the captain heads full steam ahead towards Coral Bay.
At Coral Bay, you have the chance to jump off the boat to swim and snorkel. There are also two canoes on board, a fun way to get some exercise and catch the sun. You also enjoy a buffet lunch with free-flowing local drinks and fresh fruit to finish, with background music setting the scene.
Sailing further north, the boat passes a famous shipwreck and sea caves on the way to St George’s Island, before returning to Paphos harbour.
Day 4 - Akamas Peninsula by 4x4
The day starts with an early breakfast, then we are picked up from our accommodation for a trip deep into the Akamas Peninsula with our guide. We travel by rugged 4x4, a far cry from the usual coach experience, and explore both the land and sea of the peninsula.
Our first stop is Avakas Gorge, one of the most remarkable natural wonders in Cyprus. A scenic half-hour walk leads through its dramatic limestone canyon, where towering cliffs form a strikingly narrow passage. Next, we visit Lara Beach, home to a dedicated turtle conservation project that has been protecting sea turtles for decades.
With the morning’s exploring done, we head to the Latchi Harbour area for a delicious lunch. Afterwards, we set sail for the Blue Lagoon. Its crystal-clear water makes for a refreshing swim, and you are welcome to jump in. We then return to Paphos for the night.
Please note: Today covers around 90 km, with approximately 3 hours of travel.
Day 5 - Paphos
After your final breakfast at the accommodation, it is time to say goodbye to Cyprus. A comfortable transfer takes you the 13 km (around 30 minutes) to Paphos International Airport for your onward flight.
