Itinerary
Day 1 - Marrakech
Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, you will collect your luggage and be met by our driver or agent waiting outside the Arrivals exit, holding a sign with your name. Please ensure you meet your driver before leaving the pick-up area. We will then transfer you to your chosen hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure – you might explore the vibrant streets of Marrakech at your own pace or simply relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 2 - Marrakech - Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we collect you from your hotel at 8:00 am for the journey from Marrakech to Ouarzazate. The drive takes you through the spectacular Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, passing traditional Berber villages, an ancient Kasbah, and striking mountain and valley views. You will have free time for lunch in the historic town of Ait Ben Haddou (not included) before continuing to Ouarzazate. Upon arrival, we check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 - Ouarzazate - Tinfou
After breakfast, we begin with an orientation tour of Ouarzazate, visiting the local art museum and one of the renowned cinema studios. Next, we explore a magnificent Kasbah before driving along the historic caravan route to the nearby village of Agdez. Along the way, you will see extensive palm groves lining the banks of the Draa River. We continue into the lush Draa Valley, dotted with Berber villages and Kasbahs, before reaching Zagora. En route, we stop at Tamgroute, home to a famous Koranic school and one of the oldest Islamic libraries in the world. A short drive later brings us to the golden dunes of Tinfou, where you will settle into a bivouac camp for an authentic evening with the Berber camp team. Overnight is spent at the Tinfou Dunes.
Day 4 - Taroudant
You will be woken early at 5:00 am to climb a sand dune in the darkness and watch the desert sunrise. After taking in this stunning view, return to camp for breakfast. Then set off for Taroudant, travelling through a series of small oases and towns including Foum Zguid, Tisslt, Taliouine—renowned for its saffron production—Aoulouz, and Oulad Berhil. Upon arrival in Taroudant, check in to your hotel and settle in for the night.
Day 5 - Taroudant - Agadir
After breakfast at the hotel, we explore Taroudant, often called ‘Mini Marrakech’ for its charming 16th-century medina enclosed by thick, ochre-coloured walls. In the late afternoon, the walls take on different hues as the sun moves, creating a striking effect. We wander through the bustling souks, where you can discover local crafts, including Argan oil produced by traditional methods in women’s cooperatives—a project supporting single women and widows. Afterwards, we travel towards Agadir, passing through the fertile Souss Valley and the town of Ait Melloul. We arrive at the hotel around 4pm, where you can relax and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Agadir.
Day 6 - Agadir
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have some time to relax before your transfer to Agadir airport. The timing of your departure will depend on your onward flight schedule. This marks the end of your journey through Morocco.
