Itinerary
Day 1 - Barcelona
Arrive in Barcelona by flight, ferry or train, where a representative will be waiting to welcome you with a sign bearing your name. You will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. You might explore the Old Town, sample tapas while soaking up the atmosphere along Passeig de Gràcia, or unwind on the beach or at a seaside bar in Port Olímpic before the busy days of sightseeing ahead. Overnight in Barcelona.
Day 2 - Barcelona
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin the day at the Julia Travel office, located next to the Sagrada Familia on 311 Sardenya Street. Please ensure you check in at least 15 minutes before the tour starts. An experienced guide will meet you and lead you to the Basilica, Barcelona’s iconic landmark. Explore the interior, rich with symbolism inspired by nature, while listening to your guide’s commentary through headsets. You will have time to walk freely around the nave and appreciate Gaudí’s masterful blend of architecture and spirituality. Outside, admire the intricate façades before boarding an air-conditioned coach for a short journey to Park Güell, perched on the city’s upper slopes. Enjoy a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, discovering why it is one of Gaudí’s most celebrated works, renowned for its organic style and craftsmanship. We then take a brief drive to Passeig de Gràcia, where you will join a walking tour along this prominent avenue. Here, you will see two more of Gaudí’s masterpieces—La Pedrera and Casa Batlló—before concluding the tour just a ten-minute walk from Plaça Catalunya. Overnight in Barcelona.
Day 3 - Barcelona
After breakfast at the hotel, spend the day at your leisure exploring Barcelona’s key attractions. Stroll along La Rambla, the city’s most famous street, and visit La Boqueria market to sample fresh local produce—from vibrant fruits and vegetables to seafood, cheese and a variety of meats. Wander through the Gothic Quarter, where you’ll encounter distinctive architecture, language and culinary traditions unique to Barcelona. Discover gourmet shops that have been family-run for over a century, taste cured Iberian ham, and enjoy a selection of authentic tapas at one of the many local restaurants. You may return to the hotel at your convenience or choose to extend your day with a glass of wine at a nearby bar (own expense). Overnight in Barcelona.
Day 4 - Barcelona
After breakfast, spend your final day in Barcelona at your leisure. You might choose to visit museums or galleries, shop for souvenirs, or simply wander through the city’s vibrant, historic streets (own expense). When the time comes, we will transfer you to the airport for your onward journey. Though your time here ends, the memories of this remarkable city will stay with you.
