Itinerary
Day 1 - Madrid
On arrival at Madrid airport, we meet you in the Arrivals hall – look for a driver holding a sign with your name – and transfer you to your hotel. Settle in, then you can spend the rest of the day at leisure. You might start exploring the city’s museums or enjoy a drink and tapas in one of its many bars, or simply unwind and make the most of the hotel’s facilities. In the evening you can ask reception for restaurant recommendations to sample Madrid’s celebrated gastronomy, then return to the hotel for the night. Overnight in Madrid.
Day 2 - Madrid
After breakfast at the hotel, we set you up for a full day of discovery with a hop–on hop–off bus ticket. Buses start running at 09:00 from March to October and at 10:00 from November to February. Ride as much as you like and step off to visit the sights that catch your eye. On board you receive headphones with commentary in fourteen languages, a city map and discount cheques for selected shops and restaurants. Two routes operate: Route 1 (Blue) starts and ends at the El Prado Museum and includes stops at the Salamanca neighbourhood, the Temple of Debod, the Royal Theatre, the Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral, among others. Route 2 (Green) begins and ends at Plaza Neptuno and includes the Sculpture Museum, the Natural Science Museum, the Santiago Bernabéu football stadium, the Archaeological Museum and more. In the evening, we include entrance to a flamenco performance at Teatro Flamenco Madrid at 18:00 or 20:00 – make your own way to Calle del Pez 10 and we recommend arriving 20 minutes early. The ticket is included only – you return to the hotel independently, at a time that suits you. Overnight in Madrid.
Day 3 - Madrid
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, you have free time for some final shopping or a relaxed stroll through Madrid’s streets steeped in history. At the scheduled time, we transfer you to the airport to continue your journey to the next place. Breakfast included.
