Day 2 - Bangkok City Tour

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel, then meet your guide for an exciting exploration of the Grand Palace, Thailand's most significant Royal Palace. We'll guide you through the various palaces, including the Funeral Palace and the Reception Palace. Your visit also includes the mysterious Emerald Buddha, Thailand's most revered Buddha image.
Day 3 - Travel to Kanchanaburi

Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before our transfer to Kanchanaburi. Upon arrival, we will explore significant World War II sites, starting with the Jeath War Museum and Cemetery, where you'll gain insights into the hardships faced during the war.
Next, we head to Wang Pho to board a train for a scenic 30-minute ride along the picturesque river to Ban Kao station. From there, we'll transfer to the city to visit the iconic River Kwai Bridge.
Day 4 - Explore Erawan National Park

Prepare for an exciting day at Erawan National Park, where we will explore its vast landscapes of caves, trails, and waterfalls. Don't forget your hiking shoes and swimsuit, as there will be opportunities for both trekking and swimming. We'll visit the renowned Erawan Waterfall, a stunning site named after the mythical multi-headed elephant associated with the god Indra in Hindu mythology.
Day 5 - Visit Ayutthaya & Take an Overnight Train to Chiang Mai

In the morning, we set off for Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand, located just over an hour away. Here, you'll see the remnants of the city's majestic temples and palaces.
Start your adventure with a ride in a 'Kermit' tuk tuk, a unique form of transport found only in Ayutthaya and Trang. We'll visit prominent temples including Wat Yai Chaimongkol and Wat Mahathat, famous for the Buddha image entwined in tree roots. As we journey, take the opportunity to browse a local market on the way to Wat Phra Si Sanphet.
Next, we'll explore the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, originally constructed during Ayutthaya's golden era. The palace is renowned for its diverse architectural styles, combining European, Khmer, Thai, and Chinese influences, and is a favourite retreat of the King.
We then head to Bang Pa-In Train Station for your overnight train journey to Chiang Mai. Please note, this train journey will be unaccompanied by a guide.
Day 6 - Chiang Mai at Leisure

Upon arrival at the train station, you'll be greeted by our driver and transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.
We suggest you begin with a visit to the art galleries that line the east side of the Ping River, or perhaps explore the bustling markets and sample some delicious street food. The Silver Pagoda, also known as Wat Sri Suphan, offers an impressive sight with its intricate silver panelling and is notably less crowded than other attractions.
For those interested in cultural engagement, several temples offer "monk chats," providing you with an opportunity to converse with monks about religion, life, or any topic of your choice, while allowing them to practise their English. Alternatively, treat yourself to a relaxing spa day or book a traditional Thai massage.
Day 7 - Visit Doi Inthanon National Park

This morning, we'll travel through scenic paddy fields to Doi Inthanon National Park to see the pagodas of the King and Queen. Here, take in the breathtaking mountain views from strategic viewpoints.
Next, we'll head to a Karen hill tribe village, offering a glimpse into the local way of life. En route, we'll visit the Hill Tribe Market, and on our return, we'll stop by the enchanting Wachirathan Waterfall.
In the afternoon, join us on the Mae Klang Luang Nature Trail. This path leads us away from the tourist crowds, showcasing the diverse beauty of the national park. We'll start with a forest trail descending towards a river, then follow its course. We will pass the Pa Dok Siew Waterfall, where you can take a refreshing dip in the cool waters if you wish.
Emerging into agricultural land, we'll see coffee plantations and rice paddies surrounding the Mae Klang Luang Karen village. Here, we'll pause at a local coffee house for freshly roasted and hand-ground coffee sourced from the nearby hills.
Day 8 - Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Experience

Start your day early with a pick-up at approximately 7:00 am for an exciting journey south of Chiang Mai. A 1.5-hour drive takes us through picturesque landscapes of rolling hills, forests, and local farmland, leading to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary.
Upon arrival, we delve into the world of these magnificent creatures, slipping into traditional Karen clothing to better immerse ourselves in the experience. We then engage directly with the elephants, feeding and playing with them in their natural habitat while learning about their behaviours and history. Capture these memorable moments with your camera.
Next, enjoy a mud spa with the elephants before guiding them to a nearby river for a refreshing bath. After these unique interactions, we’ll savour a traditional meal before bidding farewell to our gentle friends.
We then return to Chiang Mai, arriving after another scenic 1.5-hour drive, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or chosen accommodation. Spend the night in Chiang Mai, reflecting on this unforgettable day.
Please note: Remember to bring a swimming costume if you wish to join the elephants for a swim.
Day 9 - Journey to Phuket

Enjoy your final moments in Chiang Mai before we transfer you to the airport for your flight to Phuket. Upon arrival at Phuket Airport, our driver will collect you and take you to your accommodation. You have the rest of the day to relax or explore the stunning beaches at your leisure.
Day 10 - Phuket at Leisure

Located on the stunning Andaman Coast, Phuket is famed for its beaches, nightlife, and luxurious resorts. Its varied landscapes include tropical rainforests, palm-fringed shores, and dramatic limestone cliffs. Today, you have the freedom to explore Phuket as you wish—whether you seek relaxation or adventure.
Lounge on the beach with a refreshing drink, take a swim, or try snorkelling to appreciate the island's marine life. For a deeper dive into Phuket's underwater world, visit the aquarium at Cape Panwa. If thrill-seeking is more your style, head to Hanuman World Phuket and experience the exhilaration of jungle ziplining.
As evening descends, savour local seafood for dinner, wander through a bustling night market, or join the vibrant nightlife on Bangla Road.
